What would you think about bringing him back, if healthy? Feel like he would be a more talented version of Almonor.
Fair enough. I don’t think he ditched the Cats so much as he ditched Cal though. No thanks, ready to move on to a known healthy transfer and someone who didn't already ditch the Cats before. I just feel there are better options.
No thanks , primary offensive move is to crash into someone and flop around .Bring back Adou.
Can't hit a shot other than a dunk.No thanks , primary offensive move is to crash into someone and flop around .
“Ditch the Cats”? CCC did him dirty. Were you a Cal guy?No thanks, ready to move on to a known healthy transfer and someone who didn't already ditch the Cats before. I just feel there are better options.
100% this, if Pope has learned anything about playing in today’s SEC … shooters, yes, but defensively sound, too !!!Hope Pope brings in some guys that can actually play defense
He hasn't been good this year at Georgetown.I would like Burks to return.
How is McNeely‘s defense?
I wouldn’t be against it because he’s a solid player if he can stay healthy. What would you think about bringing him back, if healthy? Feel like he would be a more talented version of Almonor.
BooHave an odd feeling Hopkins will return to the great state of KY, but that we will be throwing L's down at him.
How did you get Cal guy from my comment? Because I don't want him back because he already left us once and was seriously injured means I'm a Cal guy??? Not everything is about Cal with me. Must be he's always on your mind though so maybe you miss Cal yourself?“Ditch the Cats”? CCC did him dirty. Were you a Cal guy?
To use the language you used was an attack on Hopkins. He did what any reasonable human being would do in that position. He didn’t ditch UK. He got the hell away from CCC.How did you get Cal guy from my comment? Because I don't want him back because he already left us once and was seriously injured means I'm a Cal guy??? Not everything is about Cal with me. Must be he's always on your mind though so maybe you miss Cal yourself?
I kind of lost track. I thought he got hurt midseason last year, and never quite got healthy enough this year so they decided to go for medical redshirt. Thought he was dealing with an acl or something? If we could be reasonably sure he’s the same guy from two years ago, then I’d welcome him back. He’s a good player, and was an especially egregious example of mismanagement by Cal, who publicly declared he had earned playing time after he balled out against LSU only to keep him glued to the bench afterwards. Back to back season ending injuries are a legitimate concern though.
I don’t think Pope underestimated it. He was quite physical himself. We need a couple of defensive bully's out of the portal. The SEC has proven to be a football conference both on the gridiron and hardwood. SEC basketball is a contact sport. I think that's one thing Pope might have underestimated with his initial group of recruits. I think Noah can develop into one of those, but we need a couple of big MKG or Demarcus Cousins types at the 4 and 5 spots. Not sure where you find those guys. I wish Garrison could take on that mentality, but I hope finding a couple of bulldogs in the portal is Popes focus for next year.
Cal very well known to push players out the door that don't qualify for the green room after 1 year and bring another round of potential green room boys revolving door thank God Arkansas took this egotistical ass to Fayetteville .Bring back Adou.
He had a torn ACL last year. Came back and played about 3 games this year before having to shut it down with a bone bruise. I don’t question his toughness or anything like that. I’d just be a little concerned that the injuries could have robbed him of a little athleticism and that there could be a lot of rust to shake off after basically not playing for two years. Given that he was still putting up 17 and 8 in the couple of games he did play this year, I’d probably still want him if he was to transfer though.I kind of lost track. I thought he got hurt midseason last year, and never quite got healthy enough this year so they decided to go for medical redshirt. Thought he was dealing with an acl or something?
I love his game and he would bring some added physicality to the team, but I worry about his persistent injury issues. I'm ready for a season of good health after this year. What would you think about bringing him back, if healthy? Feel like he would be a more talented version of Almonor.
If there was ever a chance of a return, I suspect that ship sailed when he (and the other former Cats) got booed during their return. He's probably off to the NBA anyway, I think he's still getting round 1 grades.Bring back Adou.
This, I'll trade 10 pts here and there for not giving up 15 on the other end.100% this, if Pope has learned anything about playing in today’s SEC … shooters, yes, but defensively sound, too !!!
He couldn't see the minutes he thought he deserved. He did what every todays player does in that situation, he left.To use the language you used was an attack on Hopkins. He did what any reasonable human being would do in that position. He didn’t ditch UK. He got the hell away from CCC.
yes please. he's nasty.
How did you get Cal guy from my comment? Because I don't want him back because he already left us once and was seriously injured means I'm a Cal guy??? Not everything is about Cal with me. Must be he's always on your mind though so maybe you miss Cal yourself?
As he did so manyPersonally I would have left as well. He was deserving of more clock. Cal mistreated the kid and wasted his freshman year.
THIS !No thanks, ready to move on to a known healthy transfer and someone who didn't already ditch the Cats before. I just feel there are better options.
After watching him for all 40 minutes last night, a traffic cone may be a better defender, heck Brea may even be a better defender. How is McNeely‘s defense?
