Some fans will call this type of thinking selfish. I think it's just common courtesy. Perhaps Harris should have given the UK staff a head's up. He's known for almost 6 weeks now and obviously Kentucky has a smaller margin for recruiting error than Alabama.

Jarms, I don't think anyone is pissed about Harris making the besr decision for himself butvthe way it went down. He moved back his announcement from Dec 13 and was tweeting to UK fans that he hadn't decided when rumors of Bama being the choice then tells every reporter that asks he made his mind up on his OV to Bama in Nov. The kid claims to be humble and really respect Stoops, many think if he was humble or respected Stoops like he claimed he would not have dragged it out like it was. Kids that hang out with him have been on KSR several times saying he confided in them that he was never serious about UK.

Why not expect the best football player to go to the best football program, Alabama.

Yeah, I can definitely agree with you on that front. It's not right to string someone along. Must have felt the hometown pressure and didn't want to let anyone down. Doesn't make it right, but I see why he did it.

An underrated aspect in all this is that 2 years ago, Kentucky wasn't even a finalist for elite talent. Maybe Harris giving us some serious consideration is noticed by others.
