I don't know if any of you listened to the post-game remarks by Palmer and Mussberger. Both had good things to say but JP was EXTREMELY complimentary when talking about the state of the UK football program. Brent and Jesse, y'all come back now, y'hear?

Last year I had some grips about Palmer, but he's been very good this year, IMO.

I think he is excellent as a commentator. Brent has lost a step, but still cool to have him doing our game. He's a legend.

Musberger is and always has been horrendous. The guy tries to act like play is the most important play of the season. His love affair with a very mediocre Missouri team was funny.

He has been very complimentary to UK this year and was as well last year. But he really likes our team this year. He is also really good at doing games. He and Brent are a good combo. Sounded as if they think they will be here for the UT game on Halloween. They mentioned it last night.

Horrendous? Now that's funny... he may not be the best thing, or the best to you, but he's far from horrendous

I thought he had a great point about how last week against UF you could sense everything being tight and forced even with the crowd. The streak and actually having a chance to change the direction of the series made everyone do too much.

The thought of being 5-0 (3-0) going into Auburn weighs on me, but 4-1 (2-1) with a lesson learned on what we can and cannot do in order to succeed may be just as good if not better. Go Cats!

If we run the table to get to 11-1 would we have to win the East and then the SEC to make the FF or no?

I would be glad to have Palmer do any/all our games. Intelligent and seems to enjoy working UK games.

Palmer has grown on me this year, but the last few years prior, mercy, I could not tolerate him. Seemed to me he had a condescending tone EVERYTIME he opened his mouth. This includes games not involving Kentucky. Nails on a chalk board, I tell ya.

As for Musty Burger, the dude is a legend. Just hearing that voice adds a faux level of importance and urgency to a game. I grew up hearing that voice, and it will always be cool to hear during a Kentucky game. Some voices are just part of the fabric of sports, Alberts, Scully, Cosell, etc.....

Glad someone made this post. It seemed to me that they both thought we were better than Florida and agreed that we let one get away. Both called a pretty good game, also. I would take them every Saturday. Hilario us when musburger said " football 101, coach". Well, hillarious noe, at the time I was mad and screaming the same thing.

Whoever said musburger is horrendous had no idea. Just him calling our game elevates our perception to others. He is a legend. And I think he still does a fine job
