Anyone going??

One of my all time favorite band, but I'm not a band nerd type of guy.

Tickets are expensive, but I can't miss this one.

I went to Van Halen a few years ago. I realized then and there that I will never pay real money to go see a band 20 years past their prime. It would be like paying $170 to see the 1978 Goose Givens team play basketball right now.

If you like The Eagles then this is a great concert to see. I saw it a couple years ago in Louisville and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw the Eagles last year, they were great. For a bunch of old guys they put on a hell of a show. Show lasted about 3.5 hours and they did all the good stuff and told some cool stories.

We saw this last year in Raleigh, and it was a really good show. Seems like we got tickets in the low $100's, not $170, although you could pay that & more if you wanted.

Is rather shoot myself in the face than listen to the Eagles, much less pay to do so.

Awful, just f@@@ing awful...

Historically speaking, they were Linda Ronstadt's backup band for a reason.

I'd have to Tuco some blue meth to stay awake during that dirgefest.

F the Eagles.

Wife had two floor tickets for $380 with taxes and fees. She let them go. Ill catch them on their 17th farewell tour.

Finally scored two tickets just off the floor in Sec.15. Had to jump through some hoops to get em at $381.

I haven't been to a concert in years, but I didn't want to miss this one.

I also hate The Eagles very, very much.

If I HAD to pick one song I didn't mind, though, it would be Take It to the Limit.

Really love the Eagles music, wished I had been into them more back in the 70s when they were first breaking big.
That being said, can't see paying $380 to see them, especially 40 years past their prime.

I like but don't love the Eagles. However, I do want to take the opportunity to see one of the 20 best selling acts in history. I saw the Stones when they played Churchill Downs a few years ago. They were certainly past their prime but put on an excellent show. I expect the same from the Eagles.

I love all this past their prime commentary; are they stepping in the ring for MMA or playing guitars and singing...?

I saw ACDC six years ago and they kicked butt. I saw the Stones at Churchill and they were good too. Not sure about Van Halen, but there has been so much lineup change over the years and it seems no one can get along with Eddie so maybe it's a chemistry thing. I would imagine both Sammy Hagar and Diamond Dave just walk out and hold their nose long enough to cash the checks from the tour.

My bad, I thought this was about Ron Jaworski's book tour.
