A story about this past weekend included a few paragraphs about TN loss. Laid it squarely at JH's feet. Said they consistently play undisciplined, incur dumb penalties, can't handle hostile environments, etc. Also smeared him some of the same things we say about Stoops - has one awful, unforgivable loss each year that keeps them from getting to the next level.

Pretty harsh stuff. Not sure it's accurate in its conclusions, but facts are facts.

Their ranking was over-inflated. Pollsters put too much value on their 10 point win @ an average at best Oklahoma. Now they are coming back down to earth and their fans are angry and looking for scape goats and excuses - it was all predictable . In reality they are a top 20 team in a league with 8 or 9 other top 20 type teams.

Arkansas is a tough team. Lost in a crazy game in OT were they had a million penalties at Oklahoma st. and were neck and neck w Texas A&M. Could easily be undefeated. Not like UT played a pushover.

Yes those average Oklahoma Sooners. 4-1, winners over Tulane and Houston and Auburn. Ranked 18th in the nation, but should be ranked in the middle at 60th. At best 60th. Probably 75 or 80 like a middling MAC team.

I have to agree with this sentiment, don't understand the narrative that Oklahoma is no good. 14.5 point dogs to texas is a big spread.... I like Oklahoma in that bet. Their defense is elite or borderline elite.
