Have you been paying attention to what's going on behind closed doors? Portland wants to accommodate DL. DL's been great to the franchise. Many of the Blazers fans are even supporting a trade due to the way DL has been good to the city.
Plus, there aren't many teams that will be willing to part ways with what essentially would be the equivalent of 6 or 7 draft First Round draft picks.
Have you been paying attention? Portland wants to accommodate Lillard, but they’re not going to do so without getting good compensation back. And your package of players and picks that will be in the mid to late 20s ain’t it.
Lillard can make demands all he wants. He doesn’t have a no trade clause so he really can’t control . And he’s been getting dragged by Portland fans for talking about loyalty and now asking for a trade.
It’s gonna take a 3rd team getting involved because Miami ain’t got the package.
They can want to make good all they want, but Herro coming off an injury, Duncan Robinson, Martin and some meaningless picks for Lillard is LOL worthy. There's gonna have to be a third team involved or something, ain't no damn way
It probably going to evolve a 3rd and maybe 4th team to pull this off but they are extremely smart,(the 🔥) if the want Dame then Pat Riley will make it happen. He won't over spend.
And a guy that fkr years really hasnt been forced to blend with players. Puts up some insane highlights when he gets hot but otherwise on a good team he's going to be a really nice cog in the wheel. Can get accept that?
