I think Pope has done an amazing job especially with all the injuries. I don’t remember losing to the same team 3 times so just curious if it has happened before?

Yes, I posted about this in a thread a few days ago. Aike and Furd are right about the most recent two occasions. 2014 Florida and 1979 Tennessee.
There were two much earlier and therefore less-relevant examples in the early 1900s, one by Tennessee (that was actually four losses in one season) and Central University (before they were known as Centre College).

Yeah. Out of conference even some programs (a few) have had our number as well...Duke, Ohio State, Michigan State.
