So yeah, hard to say Mason is a bust... guy was the 18th overall RSCI recruit who went on to become a top contender for NPOY and won the Newell award for best big in the country. He was drafted 22nd overall, and won NBA Rookie First-Team honors. Last year in only 20 minutes he averaged 9 pts and 5 rebounds. Hard to say that is a bust, given that the other guys in similar RSCI spots (Dan Orton, Mike Snaer, Dominic Cheek) are either not playing professional basketball or are playing overseas.
And no, I think most reasonable fans would agree that Giles would do great at UK and would do great at Duke.
But there are a few (go back to your own board, you virgins!) who rabidly insist that K just ruins players and Duke is the end of the line, whereas Cal and UK are the path to eternal greatness. I guess I am a fool because I believe that looking at the facts might actually convince people that isn't the case
