Harbaugh to Chargers!

They're fools imo if they don't hire the guy who stepped in for harbaugh during suspension. Won them 6 games and had them looking as good.
It also keeps the roster largely intact. Which seems to be a primary objective with the bizarre portal timings these days

Read somewhere about Michigan could be interested in Brian Kelly.
That ain't what happened

Kelly floated his name as interested in the Michigan job

He did this act all the time at Notre Dame. That an NFL team was gonna hire him any day now. He's a guy who needs his name bandied about even if he has no intention of leaving. Or real interest from the other side.

The carousel is not quite done turning.

Turns out the grass IS greener in Cali. It's also a place where cheating gets rewarded on the regular. Only one question remains. How will the pasty one survive his bouts with sunshine? Will he give the Chargers a Twilight-esque sparkle? Or will he go down in flames and a foul reek?

Schenellberger pulled that stunt his whole career.

It depends on the front office. Harbaugh has a proven and impressive coaching record in the NFL.

He butted heads with the 49ers front office. Not sure what all about, but he had a contentious time with them. He's an odd guy who's difficult to get along with. Hopefully the Chargers are giving him what he feels he needs to avoid those kinds of conflicts.

He’s making Michigan his primary residence on his taxes as we speak. He listed “The Big House” on his tax returns.

move Mike Stoops to front office/off the field position like Georgia did with Muschamp

Make Collins LB coach

Hire Clinksdale as corners coach/Co D coordinator

This is all wishful thinking. It is what other SEC coaches would do, as I mentioned Georgia did to hire Robinson. But Stoops won't. My one huge problem I have with the man is the refusal to be bold in hiring staff. Too many friends/family. Too many desperately inexperienced guys.

Inevitable.

Harbaugh was always going to end up back in the NFL. Especially, if he won a title for Michigan. He's one of the best coaches CFB and League. Good for him, he's done all he can at the college level.

Their OC is seemingly the guy and should be. Keep as much continuity as possible. He's got a pretty good reputation; he's proven he can win and beat the big dogs when Harbaugh was suspended, and he's been part of recruiting that talent.

Kelly would be an interesting name if the HCIW wasn't already on staff, and they didn't have a plan post Harbaugh. I don't get the dislike for Kelly, he's only one of the winningest coaches in CFB. He's won as many games as Saban give or take a handful of games, and he's still got 10 good years of coaching left. If he wins 10-11 games a year over that time, that's another 100 wins on top of the almost 300 he has now, which will put him up there on the all-time list.

Honestly, Kelly is kind of like Harbaugh, he builds winning programs at every level he's been, small, medium, and large.
