Happy with win, but Stadium Sound/Tech/DJ sucked

Not sure if anyone else at the game felt the same, but the Stadium A/V was a disaster last night.

The game clock was out of sync and incorrect, to the point where the ref had to ask them to correct it 3 times.

It took them forever to update the downs and scores.

The music would be blaring while chants were getting started, and even when the wildcat did pushups and CATS, they blared It’s a Party and cut out the wildcat. Really confusing for the crowd.

They played “it’s a party” way too much….like…every tv timeout in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I love the song, but why not more chants/cheers, etc.

Also, right when the crowd cheered super loud on 3rd coming out of a tv timeout (all by ourselves) they started the Blue White prompt which killed the crowd. 💀

The crowd stayed in the entire game but our A/V did not help at all. It’s like they’re trying to overengineer too much. Music playing anytime there was a pause. The one time they didn’t play music during a pause, the crowd started a “go big blue” chant which fired everyone up.

Again, really happy with the win but the stadium experience could be improved greatly. Back to basics.

Technology...sometimes it sucks! We won convincingly so I'm happy. It'll get fixed.

Well we shouldn’t forget that Wocka Flacka’s partner is on the pill and his other partner is drunk. That can’t be allowed to happen.

We’ve got several posters here that are nothing but pure negative but they think they hide it by using it in seemingly positive ways.

The guy is saying we need to revamp the way our sound team structures things so you don’t drown out the fans. There’s nothing at all wrong with that. Yet some of you mouth breathing punks have to be A bitch about it for no reason and this is the same group that screams UR NEGATOR BE POSITER!!!!!!! Every other second.

They’re the most negative mouthy punk bunch on here and rafters. Starting with Ed.

On topic. They need to fix it and it’s stupid that they have this problem to begin with. Once again our AD just doesn’t understand these types of things that most AD’s do. You are a fifth man that helps the defense and if your own people are keeping you from reaching that point, it needs to be addressed.

The crowd sounded great on TV the entire game. I dislike the whistle\horn on Third Down or whatever that thing is...its cheesy as hell. I like the Michael Myers music on 3rd down much better..sounds good on TV.

I think someone told me once that the whistle is supposed to be synonymous with the Kentucky coal mining connection but can we all just agree that the UK Band has to play the most boring halftime music ever? I mean who wants to hear Andrew Lloyd Webber musical tunes? I don't think I have ever heard anyone listen to music from Cats or Phantom of the Opera to get hyped.

I'm getting old because idk what it's a party is.
I'm 59, white as a ghost, live near the closest town of 800 on a farm, and even I know what "Grove Street Party" and who Waka Floka Flame is . . . . he came to our UF game last year and led the team onto the field, as they played his track:

I substitute my own biographical lyrics: "I got a small amount of money, . . . bitches took mine from me . . . ."

I've heard of the guy only due to UK football but never listened to his stuff. I'm more of a 90s early 2000s hip hop guy. Eminem, Jay z, 50 cent, Kanye, Ludacris, etc. Again, I'm old.

Hmmmm.

This has been UK's unofficial theme song since at least 2017 . . . , when someone started a "Go Fund Me" page to raise 50K to get WFF and his band to play at the Auburn game (couldn't raise 50K), and has been played at the stadium for 5 seasons. There have been multiple posts through half-a-decade about it, and UK (and MagTV) did a post UF Pump Up video last season featuring WFF's attendance at that game.

Here's a fan video of the kickoff against UT in 2017:

I'm surprised it took you off guard.

Haven't been to a football or basketball game in Lexington since like 2015. I go to the games at vandy since it is closer to me and watching the games at home is way cheaper.

Like I said I'm vaguely aware of him due to his association with the football team but just don't listen to any of his music. I've read posts on here about his name for sure. I just didn't click on them because it was about a rapper and not football. I don't listen to most modern hip hop. I've listened to it since and it's fine but not comparable to old school, just IMO.
