I’ve got a lot of problems with you people and now you’re going to hear about it.
1. Too many knee jerk reactions. The program doesn’t rise or fall based off single commits, single losses, or single assistant hirings. We collectively are usually wrong anyway. Don’t trust the conventional wisdom even if it’s sometimes right because it happens so rarely.
2. Read more sources beyond just UK news. It provides a wider context that helps understand UK better by comparing our program to its peers. National sources are my favorite cause if you read other teams’ sites you’ll see the same range of posters interpreting CFB through the narrow lens of their team.
3. It’s impossible to predict seasons because of the portal. It’s even harder to do it now because opponents are also flipping their rosters. Every team is doing portal roulette every off season. I’d believe anything between 3 wins and 9 wins. That’s before factoring in normal injury luck. Take the attitude, “seems like a good signing but I have no idea if it’ll work out” with everything.
