I usually don't have a problem with Jason Williams, even though he's Dukies through and through. I'd rather listen to him all day than Seth Davis or Doug Gottlieb. Of course, give me Jay Bilas over all of them.
But I agree with others here that Jay Will definitely let his fandom get the better of him on Tuesday night. His first problem was that the most emphatic thing he said before the game was that Duke's guards are superior to Kentucky's and that was shot down within the first 5 minutes of the game. But at the half, he was all but cheerleading, begging for Duke to switch to a zone and make a comeback. I found it humorous.
Yeah, he's a homer. But I do think he actually TRIES to put his bias aside, and I can respect that. He doesn't care much for Calipari and the one and done, but he tries to put that aside too.

I was like 12 when he played man. Since we've had Cal I always thought a kid like Carruth would have been perfectly fine under a coach like Cal. Cal handled Big Cuz as good as anybody can. I just remember Carruth being a beast his freshman year. Don't remember even why he left. Always assumed it was because Tubby just wanted a bunch of straight laced kids

Carruth needed the right coach/mentor. Tubby was not the right guy for the job. Carruth would have either thrived under Cal or he would have ridden the pine.
We love Big Cuz but dude has a chip on his shoulder. Had to sit out last night's game because of another suspension due to his tude. Cal controlled him like a boss, Carruth would have really benefitted from Cal.
Good point, John Wall and others more than make up for it. But losing Jeff Mullins may have cost us an NCAA title. He was that good
