* I mean, I definitely didn't want anyone to get hurt, but I really wanted to see this dude blast an inanimate object with one of those molotov cocktails. Sounds like something a young ChesterMarcol would have done. Just some fun, good ole fashioned, folksy vandalism.

Hot take, but that would have been AWESOME. And while we're at it, this dude missed the note that every day is chest day, bro.

Yeah, a terrorist attack/hate crime from another illegal is awesome when no one gets hurt. Good stuff.

I didn't want anyone to get hurt but seeing the world trade centers come tumbling down was awesome.

You're a blithering moron at times.

It is better than being a "blithering moron" and pole smoker ALL the time like you.

I've been playing unedited rap basically the whole time other than the 2-4 year range. They are a little to impressionable at that age.

Traveling with kids is f*cking exhausting, as is living with them, and raising them in general. Once they can communicate it just gets worse. We're rolling into double digits with #1 and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. #2 runs the whole f*cking show, so I don't see him bringing sanity to the situation. F*ck me. If you have to take them somewhere, because your IG friends are acting like they're having the time of their life on vacation with their kids( hint: they're not), then bring the grandparents so you can schlep them off and get some relief.

Do yourself a favor and just schedule some adult trips. Leave the hellyens at at home with the grandparents. Take some naps, get a massage, have a few to many cocktails, sleep in, lay around the pool. Because if you take them it's just going to be a week of ungrateful frustrations.

Just kidding, I love the little bastards... but seriously, they ruin vacations.

Currently on vacation with 5 ages 16-5. Yea the 5YO and soon to be 9YO while on vacation have to be kept up with, but the teenagers are a toss of the keys away and out of mind.

Perfect for me. It’s been 3 years since we hit up St Augustine and it’s great to be back.

- Knicks already questioning if Thibs is THE GUY. He is not.

I hope that organization plucks Dan Hurley and fails miserably.

- Working in the AM and late night on vacation with a drink in hand is my go to in order to limit the amount BS I come back to. 3 jobs finishing, 4 jobs starting and 2 major jobs bidding.

- Bullitt County inspector stopped by today after we pulled the electric inspection and until today we flew under the radar as a “distillery”.

They saw the bourbon barrels and started digging in to realize our property is double dipping as a commercial construction company and a distillery.

Shit just got real for me and our regulations.

- 8Year old(turns 9 on June 4) ordered a $85 King Crab leg dinner as I was chatting up some other folks. Waitress didn’t bother asking if it was ok, and that was going to cost her some tip.

The manager stopped by to apologize and politely explain “we ordered it so we kind of are stuck with it”. Which I immediately let him know I wouldn’t ask him to comp it at all, but service wise if kids can order $85 meals without even a hint of “is this ok” then while money isn’t an issue as far as paying if he wants his server to make a tip he better comp the $20 in tea and cokes after we pay to get her some money.

He did eat every bite and grinning ear to ear so after that and a few drinks I tipped the usual 25% anyway.

- Son was nominated for All Stars but this year they decided nominations lead to tryouts which happen while we are out of town.

Guess we will see what league coaches think of the kid has he has played for the coach.

It never ends. Kids are grown but seeing who is going to stay with grandma while we vacation becomes a chore. Can't drive, work the remote or speak to anybody civilly, other than that she should be a breeze.

Thursday, I assisted wife (5th grade science teacher) and chaperoned a class trip. My kid is in her class(don’t ask). I had ‘control’ of a group of 6 at an interactive museum/science center. Folks, either parents should have to pull a competency permit prior to conception -or- teachers/chaperones should be legally allowed to smack the shit out of these little mother touchers.
It wasn’t just my group that had lunatics, but every group had at least two unhinged idiots in their pack. So blessed my kid is a ‘normie’.

One kid, had in a brown paper bag - sugar, candy and other gooey shit for his lunch. Broke out $100 in gift shop and bought more candy. I wanted to throttle the parent who set us up for failure. Just like the saying, “there are no bad dogs, only bad dog owners”… a parent who nourishes their kid with piles of absolute poison should be brought up on charges. I can’t IMAGINE traveling anywhere with Troy or Bowden from my group. Holy smokes what happened to discipline and manners?

Speaking of dogs, my doggie was spinning around in circles yesterday and last night. Don’t know if she had a mild seizure or what… She spun into our closet and couldn’t get out. At 117lbs, it made quite a ruckus. Just had her tested and walked her back from vet. Small fortune later, she seems right as rain. I’m not complaining.

Wayfair keeps delivering me rugs. Made one complaint about a missing rug and they are clearly overcompensating their miscue.😃. My deck is gonna be fresh for the next 5 years.

Went to a NewOrleans JazzFest (Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest) type open air blues & funk music/food show yesterday. That little corner of the culinary market is unique and outstanding. Chowed down like an idiot. Saw a dude from The Meters who was jammin.

My youngest just turned 27 Saturday. Yea me. BUT,,,, the 13,9,7, and 4 year old grand kids drive me absolutely bat shit crazy. I LOVE them dearly and only see them about twice per month (3 of them live in Hopkinsville), I love it when they arrive, I also LOVE it when the leave. I feel bad if I have to get onto them, but GD at 58, my tolerance is just not what it used to be. The 3 grand daughters (13,9,4) test my patience a lot more than my 7 year old grandson. He is chill, very quite, the 13 year old grand daughter the same.

But the 9 and 4 year old, both girls test my limit. Nothing major, just SEVERAL little things. Constant fighting, picking, getting into shit at my house (not a drawer or closet goes untouched), constant leaving food and 2/3 drinks each laying around. The youngest, bless her heart, gets on my dogs last FN nerve. He is 13, has arthritis, he doesn't want her playing Dr. giving him an exam or styling him up brushing his hair putting bows and ribbons on him. I finally had to intervene when she wanted to "do his nails". He looked at me with his puppy dog eyes like "help me the F out here".

If you have any Blue Buffalo dog food or dog treats in the house, get rid of them.

My 24-pound puppy threw up a 2 inch long fish hook this morning. It was sharp as shit too.

Took her to the vet and x-rays revealed no damage.

Further, my missing airpod she ran off with a few weeks ago has passed through her so that was a win.

How does that happen? Generally (like almost every time in my entire life I’ve been in a restaurant) the server takes the order all at once.

Unless your kid just flagged em down and threw in an $85 sidecar as casually as asking for a refill.

Not to mention we always ordered for our kids until they were 10+

So you think your family is annoying. Interesting 🤔

- Thank god this states flagship university would never post such filth. That would undoubtedly be worse than taking a knee.

How many phags are watching sports outside of soccer and frisbee golf? They are 7% (at most) of the population and I would imagine only around 10% of those ever watch a game and even a smaller percentage would be regulars.

- I cant enjoy myself if I am a thousand miles away from my children. I learned that in Denver and Vegas. no judgement but my kids are gonna where I go. Taking them to the Grand Canyon was the worst experience of my life though. Not that they did anything out of the ordinary but I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach the entire time. Too many what ifs and a lot of those involve falling to their death

Chase Burns has been basically unhittable at AA, and has something like a 12-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio. He's every bit the pro prospect, if not moreso, than Jac Caglianone. MLB.com actually has them ranked 10th and 11th overall.

- Between Burns and Rhett Lowder, the Reds have snagged a couple of aces that I followed during their days at Wake Forest. Not a Reds fan so I don't know how they've drafted lately overall, but you could do a whole lot worse than those two at the top of your rotation in a year or two.

- I know college baseball isn't everyone's thing, but I really enjoy its postseason, especially the games with Ben McDonald and/or Kyle Peterson on the mic.

- Speaking of announcers, it's time to move Jason Benetti into the elite tier. Great on the mic, whether it's baseball, basketball, or football. And lives with cerebral palsy. Stud.

- Pulling for the Pacers, the Oilers, and both series to go a full seven games.

- I've never in my life seen anyone eating those circus peanuts things you find at gas stations and Cracker Barrel.

Pretty proud of my youngest. He's only 10, but has been playing up on an age group with the 11 U Travel Team. Last weekend went up against a Triple A Level travel team in a tournament that should have only had smaller county travel teams, probably with many age restrictions as their entire team looked like 13 year olds. Pitcher was huge, throwing gas and a ton of curves.

My son has had several home runs, but finally got his first Grand Slam. My oldest had 3 Grand Slams and has held that over the youngest's head, but cant anymore. Proud Dad moment for sure.

Caglianone is 22 and is going to go thru growing pains just like Holliday did/is but at the end of the day in this current era, you need bats, something the Reds have lacked for years. If Caglianone develops over the next 3-5 years as KC hopes, then he will provide more to their team than Burns ever will for Cincy in the same time frame.

Nice set up. And I do also notice the little glass of bourbon sitting in the window. Curious question, is anything in the barrel in the what looks to be hallway to the garage ?

That was a glass of bourbon. Nothing in the barrel in the hallway other than some Woodford distillery only release bottles. All the good stuff is behind the bar.

Weird how some players can go through growing pains early in their careers. Glad you aren't giving up on him!

Kid needs to work in a bat flip in that situation.

I mean this is just silly. No shit a hitter, because their adaptability, is going to accelerate in growth while pitchers have more to figure out and adapt to.

So naturally drafting college hitters will bring a faster payoff and actually has a lower bust rate too.

Lowder was damn near MLB ready supposedly coming out of college and considering he was 1a to Skenes and Skenes is mowing down hitters every game I’d say the struggle is real.

Damn………..just realized who I responded to😤

Many people don't need to talk baseball....you're one of them. It is way over your head as it is with most on here. I will give Pti credit, as he does his research despite being the Sadak of the board.

Go talk travel ball exploits with Huber.
