Appreciate your commitment to our youth Strokin’. I’m almost 49, up at 4:45 because I have some in office mtgs this AM. But my ass will be home by mid day for a nap and watching BB. Because I’m almost 49 and can’t function on 3 hrs anymore. Those days are ova.

Honestly haven’t used DVR since most everything went on demand. Kinda forgot that was available.

I basically didn’t sleep at all as I nodded off at 2:30, son wanted to see blood moon at 3am (cloudy) and was in the gym at 4:45 being tortured by a Viking goddess trainer.

Espresso saving me as I’m on fumes.

“Venice is not a romantic city, it is an erotic city.” - Leonardo Ricci … and I agree. Best place in planet and it ain’t close.

Booked Keeneland tix, UK Texas baseball game, Michters tour for 3.5 weeks from now. Those who know me, join!

I'll be 49 in 4 months. I'm talking a big game now as about 3 servings of espresso are coursing through my veins. I'll update at noon . . . if I'm still conscious.

-I thought Venice was fine but nowhere close to best place on the planet.

-If Butler is done we're gonna have to really nut up to get out of next weekend.

-"They're going to the monitor..." FFS.

-Getting Oweh back is the most important recruit since... probably Lamb/Jones. Pay that man his money.

-I do love Paris but on 2nd thought, I want to see more of Italy. Tuscany sounds good with a couple days at the lake or coast. Hmm...

-Woke up with a strained, sprained big toe. No clue how it actually happened but the level of pain suggests I should remember. Old.

-That scene at the SECT choked me a bit. Those SECT loyalist deserve a run. The amount of money they've pissed away the last 7 years, with little to show, is amazing.

It was an avalanche of errors, compounded by an open and obvious ass raping by the officials. I don't expect to have that trouble again, at least not like that.

Bullshit And 1 (most egregious I have ever seen in a college game)
Non flagrant when the guy pulled Carr down (that's called an intentional about 98% of the time)
Carr getting the shit beat out of him when they stole it on the last possession.
Oweh getting raked during one of his turnovers.
Fears getting the Jordan whistle when someone would breathe on him.

It goes on and on and on. I usually get irrationally angry at bad calls, but that was on a completely different level last night.

If google is correct and Mike Eads is in charge of SEC officiating, he should be fired and imprisoned. This dog shit has been going on across all games in the league all year.

Venice is great, but Florence better, imo. In fact, Florence may be my favorite European city. Bruges, Belgium would be up there too.

Paris is just another major city. Lots of really cool stuff to see, but not overly unique like some other places.
My sister studied for a semester in Florence, and the lass, my parents, and I all went to visit her for a bit. We went to Florence, Venice, and Rome, and both the lass and I figured Florence would be our least favorite of the three.

Florence is now our favorite city in the world, surpassing even Chicago, and we have had the good fortune to do a good amount of traveling.

The Little General was giving the officials hell and back from courtside last night. NBA thought it was BS on the continuation on that play.

IF the shit happens tonight, Pope needs to just say EFF it, and get ran. Without Butler it would take a monumental effort anyway.

Without Butler I feel like we’re playing with house money. I wanted at least one SEC tournament win and one NCAA win. Just please let Butler get healthy for the NCAA.

Is there a reason Brady just comes on here now very rarely, but almost exclusively to dog Pope when we’re down? Isn’t he a booster? The whole thing is incredibly strange. Did he have a bad interaction with Pope or his staff behind the scenes that we don’t know about? I mean we’re playing Trent Noah significant minutes and are going to be a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. With this roster we’re solidly in the NIT under Cal.

My wife woke up in the middle of the night while I was watching the game and asked me if I was watching National Geographic. We traveled all of Venice with those commercials. She also wants to go to Paris now but I don’t have time to learn French so the waiter doesn’t spit in my food.

The psychology of end-game basketball is fascinating. Our assholes were puckered when we were blowing the lead in the last minute. Chandler didn't want to get open because he didn't want the ball and Oweh was hesitant. On the other hand, OU was playing fearless, aggressive basketball. But the moment OU took the lead the script flipped. Not sure how to do it, but coaches have to figure out how to lesson the effects of that.

Venice… ((gonna pull rank here)) through the prism of an architect is so sophisticated spatially, stylewise and unique importance in cultural history made me stop at least 10x when touring to just gather my thoughts to take the experience in. If you walked around alone, predawn in Venice…you get it.

Tuscany is fine.

I think Brady believes he deserves his anger to be heard because he sends NIL cash into the ether. Real gangstas don’t talk about that behind the scenes shenanigans, however.

It is very strange. And calling him a rocket scientist to make fun of his intelligence when things go wrong is just bizarre. LOOK AT BIG BRAIN BEING DUMMY LOLOLOL

It's same kind of shit I hear from random contrarians. There's a guy I know who last year did nothing but talk shit about Cal and how awful he was. And now at any opportunity he can he talks shit about Pope. Like...what are you getting out of this?

I’m not sure if basketball coaches are necessarily going to be the profession to figure out how to reprogram the brain of Homo sapiens to lessen the effects of adrenaline and the fight or flight response in tense situations. Certainly not a rocket scientist especially. Maybe a baseball card salesman?

Why did you paisans make Venice so beautiful but then design Jersey to look like this? Did Italy just kick out all the flunkies?
