GYERO

Oklahoma is my preference but that’s only because UGA is stupid physical, and I want those OU players talking trash to have to face UK in an environment that benefits us.

Georgia. We just beat OU 2 weeks ago and it was a highly emotional game. Georgia beat us 4 months ago. The Oklahoma game would be far tougher imo. I can already see Garrison getting a stupid tech against OU

-Some Bruce Thornton (OSU) portal rumors out there; I’d take him in a heartbeat.

-Statement win for OKC in Boston tonight.

-Shai is top 5 in the league in both offensive and defensive efficiency ratings.

-Wallace was in their late game lineup, made some big timely shots and was giving them fits defensively.

Both of these teams are shooting well and playing solid.

Fears is the best player on the court tonight.

I can’t stand porter moser and I think it’s because he reminds me of Salvatore Romano(Sal) in Mad Men.

-Georgia/White waited too long to put Demary back in with 4 fouls imo.

-I’d take him if he went in the portal; he’s had a great year. He and Lewis would be a good pair and he’s only a sophomore.

Ha! Sound like something "Peter Field" would know all about

If you don't like sports, don't turn your tv on today. Hoops, high level golf, and euro soccer if you're so inclined.

Sausage, peppers and provolone on grill last night on a Jersey Mike's sub roll.

- Minnesota firing their coach in the dead middle of night is a weird move by an experienced AD (the former Deputy AD at UK). I think you only do that if you think you can get the inside track on a coach before another potential job opens up later in the day. They wouldn't have to do that for Niko Medved or Brian Dutcher. They're both good coaches, but not necessarily at the top of anyone else's lists. This tells me they're prioritizing McCollum before Iowa has the chance to talk to him.

- The job I'd most love to see Will Wade take....UNLV. Tark 2.0, baby. He'll obviously end up at a Power 4 school instead, but man...talk about a guy and a job that, personality-wise, were made for each other. I'd rather see him there than some boring job like Clemson or NCSU.

- Fears is great, but slow him down with Butler and take care of business at the other spots and the CATS will win by a dozen or so.

- Guess I just missed it because Loyola was such a cool story, but Porter Moser is a spaz.

- Let's go Deacs.

*Personally, I'd love to see Wade and NC State. Have a feeling he'll be a real thorn in the side for Pubert and Duke.

*It took exactly one game for me to hate Oklahoma. Going into the last one, I really had no emotions whatsoever about them, but they are the shit talkin'ist little bitches in the league. And as soon as they won last night they already started predicting their win for tonight. If we play how we played against Missouri, we may smoke their asses by 20+. Eff Fears, Moser and the rest of those clowns.

The SEC Tournament in Atlanta was the kind of spectacle that made college basketball legendary. The energy inside the Georgia Dome was electric, the sea of blue-clad Kentucky fans roaring as the Wildcats warmed up for their quarterfinal matchup. Tubby paced the sideline, arms crossed, eyes locked onto his team. The pressure was on. The boosters wanted a deep run. The fans expected a title.

And Scott Rigot was missing. Again.

Tubby didn’t like distractions during tournament time, and an assistant coach vanishing on a recruiting trip right before tip-off? That was unacceptable.

Three blocks away, Rigot sat in the back of a dimly lit bar, a March Madness game flickering on the TV overhead. A man in a gray suit slid into the booth across from him.

"You’re cutting it close, Coach," the man said, stirring a club soda with his straw. "You think I want to be here?" Rigot muttered, glancing at the time. Tip-off was in an hour. "Let’s make this quick." The man slid a thin envelope across the table. Rigot picked it up, thumbing through the contents. Photos. Surveillance reports. A familiar name.

"Dragan Vukovic?" Rigot asked, his brows furrowing. The man in the suit nodded. "Serbian arms dealer. One of his contacts has been leaking intel to us, but now Vukovic’s people are tying up loose ends. We need to get our guy out before he disappears."

Rigot clenched his jaw. "And you want me to do it. During the damn SEC Tournament." "That’s right," the man said, unfazed. "You’ve got access. No one questions a coach taking a recruiting detour."

Rigot exhaled sharply. He was already on thin ice with Tubby—missing another supposed scouting trip wouldn’t help his case. But he didn’t have a choice. "Fine," he said. "Where’s the pickup?"

"An abandoned hotel off Peachtree. You’ll make contact, get him a new identity, and get him on a flight out of Hartsfield before midnight." Rigot tucked the envelope into his Wildcats windbreaker and stood. "I’ll handle it," he said. "One more thing," the man added, his tone shifting. "Vukovic’s people know something’s up. If they get to him first… don’t expect this to be clean." Rigot nodded, threw a few bills on the table, and left.

By the time he made it to the hotel, the streets outside the Georgia Dome were packed with fans spilling out of bars, chanting and hyped for the game. Rigot’s heart pounded—not from nerves, but from the fact that he could hear the Kentucky game tipping off on a nearby radio.

Tubby was going to kill him.

He climbed the stairs to the fourth floor, where the air was thick with dust and bad memories. His contact, a wiry man with tired eyes and a duffel bag at his feet, stepped out from the shadows.

"You’re late," the man muttered.

"Traffic," Rigot deadpanned. "Let’s go."

But before they could move, the sound of footsteps echoed down the hall. Rigot’s stomach dropped. He turned just in time to see the glint of a gun barrel before—

CRACK. A shot rang out.

The man beside him staggered back, his duffel bag hitting the floor with a dull thud. Rigot barely had time to react before he saw the shooter. Dragan Vukovic himself.

"Guess I found my own loose end," the Serbian said, his accent thick and amused as he cocked the gun again.

Rigot’s mind raced. He had no backup. No weapon. And worst of all?

Kentucky was down by six at halftime.

He had two jobs to survive tonight.

And right now, staying alive was the harder one.

I can't stand Demary. That dude flops more than anyone since Grant Williams. On one free throw, after he shot it, Fears went to block him out and put his hand in Demary's stomach. Demary threw his hands up and head back like he had been hit with a sledgehammer and immediately looked at the ref to call something. It was a freaking joke.

- Doug Stone is an underrated 90’s country artist.

- All due respect to my man, pti, but watching people run hurts my feelings. How do any of you enjoy that? You all look like you’re just suffering the entire time; give me steps all day. #fat

- The warmer mornings when taking the dog out, March Madness, “real” baseball on the horizon... 😍

- On that note, I go back and forth on Spring or Fall being my favorite season, but the older I get I’m pretty sure it’s Spring.

- “Barville,” not “Bar-bour-ville.”

- If you have cash available, now is the time to invest. For serious.

- Nashville used to be so fun. Miserable now, even non-SEC Tourney weekends.

- How has Anth in all his years of coaching never landed the Cubs as his team?

- Go Cats.

Mark Chesnutt is the king of underrated* 90s country. Fun fact, his first number 1 single was on an album released in 1990 and his last number 1 was off an album released in 1999. Perfectly timed

I think that Zach Top feller sounds like a mix between Doug Stone/Mark Chestnut/Tracy Lawrence. He has that same whine as Doug Stone but his voice is in a higher pitch.

My favorite color as a kid was orange and when I wear orange shirts/polos, I look pretty good. What a shame.

- Call me krazy but sadly I think Cal/Arky make a run and win today and upset Auburn. No reasoning for it all which is on brand for Cal. I’m sure he’ll lose round 1 in the NCAA though.

- Scary times for Louisville IMO on construction. We’ve always been a hard market to crack for national builders but here we are with 4 major national builders in and really dominating at the moment.

My new company is 80% dependent on them and we have gone from normal winter to 300x GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Fisher, DR Horton, Arbor(Elite Homes) and I can’t remember the 4th.

- Tonight will be a dog fight, and OU is absolutely the trash talkingest bunch I’ve seen in awhile.

I like it though, just hope we keep our heads and do not get phased, or even better like Oweh did in the first game use it to elevate and takeover.

- Have a Tball kid now and last Spring of 8u baseball, and was offered to coach. No thanks, I’d love to but I’m smarter than to put myself in a position to let hot headed parents take shots at me and take it.

- I love Vern’s enthusiasm for the Cubs and hope I find it too, but Kyle Tucker and 3 good to great starters just isn’t doing it for me.

- @CSC81 why is now a good time to invest if you have cash? I’ve not been able to find solid deals of late and things are getting worse so the best “deals” are still yet to come IMO.

- One thing you simply can’t replace ever is tournament pressure. This is fantastic!

Go Cats
