GYERO

#5 SEED - Winner of Texas / Vandy
#6 SEED - winner of Oklahoma / Georgia
#7 SEED - winner of LSU / Miss State

6 seed mostly likely, so either a rematch of a tough game against Oklahoma or revenge game after losing badly to Georgia. Pick your poison.

This team is what it is…for a myriad of reasons, especially health.

But it’s vintage Kentucky Basketball. The kind that made BBN what it is. I missed it more than I ever realized. We’re as likely to lose 1st Rd as to make the E8, or even S16 tbh.

That’s ok, but obviously hope we make a lil
Run

This bunch of overachieving studs is only the beginning…LFG. No matter how the tourneys play out, I’ll never forget this team, especially one day when Pope gets his ring.

Go Big Blue!
Post more, BBdK

I haven’t looked at a draft board in a couple years, and he may make me look like an idiot, but I don’t think Broome is going to be worth a f*ck as an NBA player. Below the rim, slow for the NBA, not a great shooter.

Great college player but I don’t see it next level. Reminds me of Erik Daniels.

My hot take of the day.

SCORCHING WHITE HOT TAKE: I’d cheer for Duke over this POS Auburn team. Dead serious. Most loathsome college team in decades.
I kind of agree with that because Baker-Mazzara is neck and neck with Hunter Dickinson as the most repugnant player in college basketball but I really find myself hating every SEC team not named Kentucky this year. Other than Krissa most of our wounded have been because referees have allowed teams to just beat the shit out of us.

I was impressed with Philon today for Bama. I’d be good if he’s our starting pg next year.

Just a dawg who’s not afraid to take big shots and has a solid defense presence about him.

Record Breaking Saturday Post-Game Quick Hitters :

~ Butler's control of the basketball and change of speeds makes a massive difference to our offense. His ability to consistently beat his man is almost stunning and he's a bowling ball in the fast break. He seems to be getting more comfortable too.

~ Carr did everything and some today as was mentioned multiple times. Of our bigs, I think he did his best work defensively using his body to legally guard and quickly react to the rebound opportunity.

~ Chandler suddenly becoming a sniper isn't just gravy, it's exactly what we need if we don't have Robinson. Good to have a guy like that off the bench. Need Almonor to get a bit of his swagger back too.

~ We're going to need that 4-5 minute stretch that Brea had in the 1st half to become a consistent thing for him. He was hunting his shot, driving the rim aggressively and his defense was better as a result. Can't turn into a ghost just because he hit a few shots.

~ Oweh quietly does it again on offense but it was clear what his job was today. He had grease lightning bottled up from the jump and made his life a living hell.

As long as Oweh, Williams and Butler are on the floor, I like us against just about anyone.

Some credit on this also goes to Chandler. When Oweh had 2 fouls in the 1st half Chandler also kept him in check.

He never got going at all and that was absolutely the #1 key to the game. They are just a different team when he hits shots because typically when Bates and others see Grill going off they in turn also start catching fire too!

Cal got lucky AF drawing Ole Miss for Thursday.

Every single other team that has a bye would murder him whether it be a revenge game or just because they would be flat out better than Arkansas.

When it comes to the post-season, there ARE no 'breaks" or "easy paths" when Calipari is your coach. Not in a long time anyway.
