GYERO

and here we are with an entire page dedicated to him. you guys know how to stop the situation but you are itching for the potential dopamine hits you get from the likes on that reply like a crack head.

and all it took was a 1/10 troll attempt calling the SEC overrated. the conference you cuss twice a week and promise to stop defending.

Shit takes have been getting pounded in this thread for nearly two decades. It's the core principle of GYERO.

I forgot Daymeon Fishback was from Kentucky and looked up his wiki after KSR mentioned him today. In addition to being a solid color commentator, he's a current financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in Atlanta. Interesting cat.

I'd be perfectly fine with ESPN pairing him with Tom Hart and giving them most of our games next year.

* The Gas Price Thread is something else.

* I like that there seems to be no news about UK football. At this point there is nothing left to say and we are all just waiting for the results to play out. Somewhat like the last election where there were far fewer yards signs, etc, feels like we all just want to see how it plays out in November.

I like him too. Seems like Dane Bradshaw is getting demoted or something.

I played against Fish in high school. We always matched up against each other. He was two years younger than me and still learning his superpowers so I had good outings against him. Our team didn't fare too well. They ended my high school career. They were loaded back then.

I currently work and help at the school he graduated from. He was always a fairly humble and soft spoken soph. when I knew him. Always seemed to have his business in order.

Very curious to see what pope does with the 5 position next year. Would have to imagine he wants that position to be able to knock down 3’s, unlike Williams this year.

Can garrison fill that starter’s role? Diff skill set than Williams but brings a lot to the table, especially if he can get his emotions in check.
-Ewin at Miami has been one of the names floating around, he’s not much of a shooter though. BG is a better offensive fit but might leave if he feels like he won’t start next year. He’d have 2 years of eligibility too.

-Ewin/BG/MM would be a good set of 5s that would complement each other well and you could bring MM along slowly.

-Yaxel at UAB (playing on espn2 now) could be the Carr replacement. Much better passer (better than Amari and with fewer turnovers) and offensively skilled overall. Not quite the shooter though but he could initiate the offense like Amari.

Any scuttlebutt on potential point guards?
Donovan Dent-New Mexico
Obi Agbim-Wyoming
Labaron Philon-Bama

A wing is Max Green-Holy Cross but that could be dependent upon if Chandler is still here. Some Chandler to Utah smoke is out there. Green is from Oldham Co and grew up a UL fan so could go there.
A better option might be Miles Byrd-SD State

There may not be a player in the NBA I dislike more than Draymond Green. After KAT missed the GSW game this week, that man child had the audacity to float the rumor on his podcast that KAT didn't play because Jimmy Butler was in the building.

When corrected on the reason (a family friend died of cancer) he said it sucks but it was what he heard.

What are you, some kind of hen post monitor?

-Win Saturday and Lets effing go. Need it.

Quick hitters:
*He corrected this after the Noah, Perry, Brea, Almanor, BG lineup that gave up 8pts to wide open layups in the like 45 seconds BUT one of Oweh, Butler, Williams need to be on the floor at all times.
*Garrison has taken a step forward. Much more "GOOD Brandon" these days. His hands are elite. Like to see him back.
*Like Colin but he's gonna be a perpetual back up here, hopefully. Plus, married and Mormon. I'd understand it. He played better in the blowout.
*The mental and physical grind of the SEC is catching up with a lot of teams. I don't see an early exit next week as a bad thing at all.
*What a year for Mark Pope. Tragic in not having a full team for 75% of it but showed his chops in a brutal conference with about as much adversity as one could throw at him. Not sure how you couldn't be buying all the Pope stock available. Plus his wife is a doll.

-Bird Buddy installed. Team bird watcher engaged.

-Youth Baseball season is a f*cking grind.

-Portal gonna be straight insanity this year.

-Pretty vivid dream of fighting a brown bear last night. Did much better in the dream than I would in reality. Woke me up and all.

I hate birds. Eff them.

A ligament in my thumb is still crunching and in pain from punching a window frame in effort to scare away last year’s springtime dive-bombing, douchebag mockingbird. Little bastard, like clockwork, would relentlessly attack my bedroom window at 4:00am… and then go spray liters of white diarrhea all over my side view mirror of my car.

Pellet gun to be purchased.

Let us know if and when Byrd is the word.

Feel you anth. Between my 3 boys we are juggling
Varsity/JV baseball
Middle school A/B baseball
Wee ball.
Plus 2 travel team practices (not much during the HS season, but the occasional BP). So 7 teams between 3 boys. It is brutal but I also love it.

again, I’m not concerned with recruiting HS kids. Idc if it would “look good” for pope to land a 5*. I just think those days are over so long as you can go grab some 23 yr old from UC Santa Barbara that is desperate for a shot at playing in Israel after one year in #BBN

you’ll know ol’ B Rax has struck it rich the day you see me wearing a UK Rhoback hoodie. Those things are dope but $150 for a tshirt hoodie is wacky baby with a capital A

It would honestly be difficult to find parents that are bigger UK fans than Max Greens.

Wow, didn't know you worked at Greenwood now.

Dent is unreal. Would be thrilled with he or Obi. This Brice Williams kid from Nebraska is having an incredible season -- would love to add a legit 6-7 pure wing like that.

The new landscape obviously needs changes, but despite its flaws Portal Season is fun AF - can't wait to see what we can do now that we have some receipts & an identity. Let's face it, most kids had no idea who Mark Pope even was this time last year, nor did we really have Hart & Brooks firmly in place for much of it. It really is incredible what Pope was able to put together in such a ridiculous situation.

Yeah, that gold package gives off ENG vibes.

The Pitino redemption tour out in full force. He will be remembered as one of the greatest coaches of all time but let's not ever pretend he was a good guy.

Breakfast with the Cats sounds good tomorrow.

* I just added to the gas prices thread.

$2.39 yesterday. I’ve found one super ghetto station that is significantly less expensive than anywhere else in town. No clue what’s going on there. Probably stolen, front for Isis, etc.

* Businesses still haven’t really gotten the “self check in” thing yet. Can we put Elon on this?

Ex: did online check in at a Hilton, waiting on a digital key, then got a “SEE FRONT DESK” error message. Total BS.

* Throwing knucks, even in a business setting, is one of the low key benefits of the COVID aftermath. Just so casual.

* Shared with some buds this morning: DMX isn’t a lyrical genius, imo, but “How’s It Goin Down” was a masterpiece.

I love the line about “gettin my bark on.”

Kinda wish I was single so I could bounce, and be like “yall have fun here at SlootAnth’s, I’m gonna head out to Two Keys and GET MY BARK ON.”

* I did. Down my leg.

* Friday 5:

Spotlight (David Allen Coe)
Bury Me (Jason Isbell)
How’s It Goin Down (DMX)
Carl Perkins Cadillac (Drive By Truckers)
Years (Sierra Ferrell)

* Braden Smith is transferring to UK. Believe me, I worked the concession stand and occasionally the clock at *several* 40-and-over church league basketball games in high school 30 years ago. I know wtf I’m talking about and you people don’t.
