Pts, Rebs, Ast, Stl and TO #s are per 40 min, for their final season at UK.

*PER for UK career, couldn't find it by season.

Butler is in or near the top tier, statistically. #1 in PER, eFG and Stl. #2 in Pts. #3 in Ast and TO.

Knight was the best player on a Final Four team and drained a clutch jumper to put is there. He should be ahead of Ulis. If we make the Final Four Butler could be a B. If he wins MVP in the Final Four he'll be an A.

A) Wall / Fox / Knight
B) Teague / Harrison
C) Ulis / SGA (f you Cal)
however Ulis was only the 2nd player in SEC history to be named POY and DPOY in the same season

- Anybody else frequent the Kids Workshops at Lowes or Home Depot once a month? My oldest (just turned 3) seems to enjoy for the most part. Of course, he gets the glory of getting the last few hammer strikes in for each microscopic nail after I mumble curse words under my breath finagling with them and getting them in the right spot. The 1.5 year old likes to take a hammer and hit the work bench for a while before throwing it on the ground and then aimlessly walking around the aisles (with supervision.)

- Starting tee-ball with the 3-year-old this spring. Hoping he’s a little bit more coachable in a public setting than he is when we’re messing around in the backyard. I signed up to be an assistant coach – seems like a sweet spot until I inevitably realize the head coach has no idea what they’re talking about.

- Had a buddy over for the Miss St game and we were having a hard time penciling Lamont Butler on where he ranks as UK point guard since the beginning of the Cal Era.
  • A: Wall/Ulis/Fox
  • B: Knight/SGA
  • C: Teague/Andrew Harrison
  • D: Wheeler/Hagans/Wagner
  • Hell: Harrow/Askew
Maybe between that B/C tier? In the B tier?

- Apple’s plan of having Severance S1 for free trying to get people to subscribe for season 2 worked flawlessly on me. Total sheep. That show is great though – perfectly striking that balance of good drama/bizarre comedy. My favorite show since Succession ended.

- Lass and I heading up to Cincy Friday night for a weekend away from the kids with nothing on the agenda other than drinking/eating. Staying in the middle of OTR. Planning to hit Rhinegeist at some point and have a reservation Saturday at Losanti. WCC/other Cincy folks: where should we watch the Cats Saturday? Any other reqs?
I remember taking my kid to those workshops. Makes me sound old but that kid is now 15 and man how I wish I could go back to those days. As frustrating sometimes as those workshops would be when he would do the things like you mention, those were some great times. Often as we walk in one of those places today, he’ll be like dad remember those workshops you would take me to, those were fun. Wish I could take 3 year old him there today. Those younger years are somewhat of a blur as they can sometimes be chaos, but man enjoy the hell outta them. Soak it in!

I once rode in an elevator with Bags and Wagner after a game in St. Louis in which he gave up a 500ft HR to McGwire in the button of the 11th to walk it off. That dude is little and Bagwell wasn’t much bigger.

After they let Baines in they should just open it up to everyone that ever played.

Just what johnell Davis needed to bust out if his slump, imo

Seth Greenberg is definitely the Dwight shrute to calipari’s michael Scott. Dude is just kinda weird about cal, right? Like, it feels sexual. Ellen should probably confront John about this. People are talking, and it feels gay

I can’t stop watching the videos of my beloved emerald coast getting 4-8” of snow. It’s absolutely mind blowing to me. Speaking of blowing, Seth greenberg

Remember when digger Phelps scolded Kentucky fans for cheering during vanderbilts game day in like 2012?? F*ck him still for that. Is he alive? I honestly don’t know EDIT: he is alive so f*ck him, old ass dorky bitch

Ulis had a PER of 24 his sophomore season.

Harrion's PER was 18 his sophomore season.

- Haven’t seen him.

- We were in Nashville for that Vandy game but were far too hungover to make it to gameday at that early central time start. Was that the same year as that drunk fan? Can’t find his picture.

- Time is a B, @B Rax. I just turned 45 and that math just does not compute. I feel maybe 35 most of the time (except with random things hurt for no reason). I often think of @Teriecat saying having kids older keeps you young. Guess so.

-We’ve never taken the boys to the Home Depot workshop though I’ve thought about it. Maybe this Saturday before big time 9/10 year old basketball and then the Cats game? Is G too old for it?

- Does the Gulf snow just make it look like the Jersey Shore in the winter?

Does Boogie Fland play another game for Arkansas this year?

We all know the answer to this.

Haven't seen him.

Maybe. I don’t know. Not really.

It’s almost as if we have seen this movie before, can quote it verbatim, and know how it ends

WAR of 27 of Wagner. Give me a break.

Oh lord....here we go with WAR. Please don't adopt the PTI baseball ignorance.

Most dominant reliever in MLB for nearly 10 years.
9th most saves of all time.
Best LH reliever of all time.
11.9 Ks-per-nine-innings mark that is the highest for any pitcher who logged 900 innings.
His career 2.31 ERA is second only to Mariano Rivera among pitchers with at least 900 innings

It was a no-brainer and should have been in before now.

If it’s true that Cal is bothered by UK fans’ criticism, it makes him look even shittier, Seth, you dicklicking dolt.
It implies that Cal thought his results were either up to Kentucky standards or, more likely, just didn't care and thought the BBN was lucky to have him for as long as he graced us with his presence. Is Matt Jones saying that Greenberg still texts to defend Calipari? If so, why? That's like having your friend text your ex to take up for you. From two rich, employed men in their 60s.

In the words of Curly Bill: Well, bye.

- I've never liked Greenburg, all the way back to his VT days, with his annual complaints about missing the NCAAT. Glad he and Williams are typically paired. Means only one studio team is ruined rather than two. Kinda like Spinach/Artichoke Dip. Might as well combine two things I hate and free up the rest of the apps for my enjoyment.

- I know we want Arkansas to lose every game and whatnot, but to me, the ideal scenario is that they lose tonight to Georgia, ensuring an embarrassing home crowd on Saturday against Oklahoma. They win that game, to get the SEC O-fer off their back, then lose out. As has been said, they're gonna beat a marquee opponent at some point. Just hope it's not us. Who knows maybe our team will win.

- Dinner at Le Moo last weekend was fantastic. Don't make it to Louisville for dinner that much, but it has to be up there, no?

- Oldest was front row in the student section for Wake's win last night over UNC. Wake is a weird scene, athletically, but they kind of embrace it. It's been fun having a "second" team to have a rooting interest in. That team is a bunch of knuckleheads, but Sallis is really talented, and the others make just enough plays to eke out wins. Best part is seeing my kid really get into it. She's camping out for Saturday's Duke game, I think.

- Had a show in Cincinnati last night. I know the city gets a lot of grief in here, but when you come around that final hill heading north on 75 and see it lit up, it's always a cool sight.

- Zach Top.

-Those idiots don't understand the bullshit we've gone through with Cal the last 6-7 years. Ellen accepting a senior night jersey, Saedon Sharpe, players leaving midseason, media wars with Oscar, shutting off the fanbase and media over dumb vendettas, alienating donors, constant revolving door of players, a coach that constantly talked down to the fan base, a coach that tripled down on an archaic system, insulated himself with yes men, ran off several coaches, flirted with NBA or other schools every year, then lost in embarrassing fashion year after year starting in 2015. We stuck with him through some shit. Only for him to take off and start banging the neighbor. Sure, we're happy when the neighbor realizes he got the raw end of the deal. Validation is an amazing feeling. Who in their right mind would think a rabid fanbase wouldn't care about where a former coach ended up?

-I've had solid but not top tier meals from Le Moo. Get to try Meesh Meesh soon.

-I like givign Cincy shit because I hate Willy, Chad and Maxxx. Plus, I'm still pissed my Dad raised me as a Reds fan. F*ck that place.

-The pictures of snow from the coast were great. Good for those folks. As for us, gtfo winter. Worst time of year and it's not close. Give me that 70 February tease... sonner than later .

-Picked up a new authentic peacoat. Great addition to the closet. Sucker is warm AF.

I have a quite the hot take on Meesh Meesh and here it is:

Meesh Meesh is the most overrated restaurant in Louisville, and Mrs. Dougan is the head over-rater. She absolutely loves it and books dinners and events there all the time. I think she has a standing reservation there.

On the positive side, the service is close to impeccable. We went there one night and our reservation for 6 was delayed due to people not leaving, so we went to the wine bar next door (which we were more than happy to do so it's not like we were complaining). The Meesh Meesh manager came in and bought all our drinks for us.

But my issue with it is the food. Their best dishes can made at home if you know Mediterranean cooking. I'll put Wayne's Falafel, chicken thighs and lamb kofta up against Meesh Meesh when you factor in the cost and a 6-week wait time on a reservation.

8 out 10.

What a day yesterday. You never can trust a good weather report, but we had snow in the forecast. The "high end" was a crazy number of up to 8 inches. In the 13 years I've lived here, I've seen snow twice, and only once was it enough to turn the yard white. So probably an inch or so total over that time.

It ended up snowing for about 12 straight hours yesterday, with around 10 inches total. Just a really cool once-in-a-lifetime event for our city.
