*I'm going to start placing plastic scissors on Jeeps driven by women if they don't snatch the idea first.

*Son though he was being slick and called me a, "Space movie from 1992." I'm guessing he wasn't expecting me to know the reference when I hurled the actual name of the movie back at him.

*.Before the ice fell, the snow was pretty fun. Tied off a sled to the back of a golf cart and hauled people around in the hood. Add in some bourbon and it made for a nice little afternoon.

*The Bulldog looks like a tattoo one of them would get on their titty.

*Dry January? Hard pass.

Annual BBdK (late) pre-conference Non-Kate Team: Just dudes whose game I love, no consideration given to their team or if I hope they lose every game.

Kam Jones
Dylan Harper
Labaron Philon
Chaz Lanier 😬
Kasparus Jackucionis

6th Man: Eric Dixon

-Kinda wild that Rutgers has the #2 & #3 prospect. Both will be T5 at worst, imo. Worship Harper, but Ace Bailey is ridiculous, and probably a higher ceiling.

-Toughie tonight. Koby wasn't at shootaround, at least per the UK IG video. Georgia is right outside the T25, will obviously be bonkers atmosphere. A win of any type sure would be a nice little validation of Saturday.

Asa Newell is a stud. Realize Montverde isn't a traditional school, but that's nothing new in the highest levels of HS Hoops. Oak Hill and some others have obvious contenders, but That Montverde team last year has to rank among the best ever.
33-0 playing everybody.

Robert Wright: Baylor's best player
Curtis Givens: 15mpg for LSU
Lian McNeely: Uconn's best player, lotto convo
Cooper Flagg: Auto #1 pick
Asa Newell: Baller, lotto convo
Derek Queen: Dominating, 1st Rounder

good lord

-Would love to see a big game from Jax tonight. He hasn't been bad, but he can be so much better, and he knows it. Really just needs to make more shots tbh, and I'd actually like to see him much MORE aggressive. If Brea is out, it will basically be required for a W. Go Cats!

Koby is in the shootaround video just in sweats not participating; they flew him down this AM.

Sounds like he won't play.

The moment after Carr hits that 3 and UF calls a TO, crowd going nuts camera pans to Pope with his hands behind his back and it looked like for a second he was really taking it all in. That right there is the magic about him, he is in awe and I dont think it ever fades. I cannot wait to see it in person in March.

Did not expect this type of start from this group. Oweh being the biggest surprise that has driven this team. Momentum is a real thing in this day and age and its just been really good. If Williams has any hopes of playing professional ball in the USA tonight would be a good way to continue the UF game momentum. Show up big fella.

Florida is *legit*, no matter the outcome tonight.

Tennessee gonna lose sooner than later, but they’re tough AF. Lose a generational player (for them) + other key guys, and not miss a beat?

Barnes needs to get something done in March obviously, but he’s been an unexpected HR there regardless. Talk about identity coaches, he’s way up there. Football on wood, same squad annually, except he now has the golden portal ticket it seems - come here & be the main offensive guy to compliment my bullies.

SEC is gonna be so bonkers. Everyone is gonna lose, and most will lose a bunch, although Auburn looks kinda scary tbh. Bama seems to be finding it.

Lookahead power rankings:

Auburn
Bama
UT

That’s the cream. We can join, but we lead the 2nd tier, which is about 6-7 others, depending on the day. But our resume stands out *currently*.

We’re gonna lose several of these 55/45 (50/50?) road games like tonight, but you gotta win lion’s share of them to challenge for the conference.
