I don’t see Stoops taking another job. I could see him retiring (maybe 40% of his buyout) and being done like his brother did.
Definitely heard rumor there was some discussion of this very thing but it sounds like he wants almost all his money. More of a hostage situation than a negotiation imo.I don’t see Stoops taking another job. I could see him retiring (maybe 40% of his buyout) and being done like his brother did.
My office shorted me 40 hrs of PTO the last 3 years… of course they changed the cash out unused annual hours policy to boot. Use it or lose it (they say). What has two thumbs and basically won’t be working in December? This MFer.
Hahaha. 3 folks taken down, Wayne. They clearly don't respect you after the "too scared to fire anyone" fiasco from early in the year.
- Hoping my offer on 5 acres is accepted. I found it privately and knocked on the door of the owner. Offered more than fair value as to what land is going for here so my fingers are crossed.
COUNTERPOINT: I'd take a serious haircut to get paid to *NOT* work. It isn't stupid to think that Stoops would give UK some discount to, you know, get paid without having to show up.So he’s not just going to just voluntarily surrender tens of millions of dollars?
Gonna need the wcc Common Sense Smell Test on this one. Sounds fishy.
He will. At Stephen F. Austin or some place like that.I mean no ill will towards BVG. He plays tough, isn't a distraction and wants to win, but he just isn't cut out to start in the SEC. He completely lacks the ability to read defenses pre-snap (which is likely caused by our slow ass pace only giving him 5 seconds to look around), throws almost exclusively to Key and misses almost all of the short to intermediate passes with 0 touch.
I hope he does well elsewhere and I hope the money we spent on him goes to two 3 year starters at Tackle.
