During a coaching search, once I hear "I've got to talk to my wife and family so we can blah blah blah" (or some stupid variant of that), the red flag goes up, and the coaching search should cut bait and move on. You're a major D1 head coach and will be making millions. What your wife thinks about it shouldn't even f***ing matter. If she didn't understand the lifestyle associated with her husband's career then she's an idiot. It's a college town honey, your credit card will go even FARTHER there.

That's hyperbolic of course, but the sentiment is spot on.

They normally get Charlotte, G'boro, or Winston. Giving them PNC Arena is complete BS, 20 miles from their campus.

Mark Sears plays a style of basketball that I wish would go extinct.

obviously don’t want Cal to win but I would rather him win than Duke but that’s it. Would even rather ucla win than cal this year.

I hope Rick kicks Cal's ass but at the end of the day as much as it would suck if Cal rolls on to the Final Four, he was NEVER going to do it here again. Accept that. It would have been a further plunge into irrelevance.
Ironically. the worst thing for Arkansas is a 2-4 game run that leaves them short of the title and Cal will feel a 100% vindicated and no one will be able to say anything to him. He can just be fat, stroller with a dog pushing, watch Little House instead of game film, what's a zone Cal.

Arkansas has rejuvenated Cal. Just like the announcers were saying last night, Cal has trimmed down, looks a lot better. Doesn't eat extravagant meals as often because "he doesn't have as many friends as he did in Lexington".

[Plus, Fayetteville pizza scene, probably].

Obviously, getting fired up for the UK game helped turn around their season. His players wanted it more. It was a key, resume-building win for Arkansas, and without it, they might not have made the tournament.

It's not a game that would have an equivalent if Cal had remained here.

In other words, you're wrong, Wayne.

With a win tomorrow Cal could have his you made your bed moment again but replace forde for mags. Weird timeline.

I want to see a well prepared Wildcat team jump on them early would do wonders for my ptsd anxiety from the above guy as many have said. We are just in a better place as a program.

The creators of these commercials across all ncaa programming should be sent to whatever supermax prison we are currently exporting to. Have to mute it awful.

The hell are you talking about? He was a 10 seed and has won a crappy first round game to a crap Kansas team.

I'm saying if that were the exact team here, he probably would have underachieved with them, even more than he has so far.

Guess I'm splitting hairs, just saying that if he were to somehow make the FF (he won't), he would not have done the same thing here.
Not to mention he wouldn’t have even had the same team here. Adou was out the door and he didn’t have the NIL money from the boosters to get Davis in.

I'm not nervous at all, but I couldn't tell you why. I'm just not. My MAIN concern is that Butler doesn't aggravate that shoulder.

That's it. That's the list.
