That said, I like the Lions, but you have to admit, SF winning a SB would a feel good story. America loves it when a perrenial underdog finally wins the big one.

That said to your that said, the Lions making the Super Bowl and getting everyone excited just to wind up with the Mahomes making a TikTok after beating them in the SB might be more than our nation can take right now.

At most schools the 7th Floor Crew would be the biggest black eye to the program. At Miami it doesn't even make the top 10.

-Slight chance we may actually get to see the sun today. If not, late week for sure!! 3 weeks of hazy, snowy, rainy, darkness. Excellent for the soul.

-Lot of coaching malpractice yesterday. Mercy.

-Since my Packers are out I'll go with my Niners to win the SB. Sorry, Tay, I love you, but time for Purdy and McCaffery. Granted I'm in a win win situation because making Bengals more miserable would be very enjoyable.

-Not saying I was wrong, or overly confident in my ability to navigate them, but kid's sports are a bit of a time commitment. Shew.

-Peerless double oak rye is too pricey($150) but a helluva pour.

-Nami last week. Fantastic. Speakeasy at Gerties, dope. Rooftop bar at Hotel Genevieve, very dope. Angel Envy distillery tour, meh. Proof lunch, great.

-Sausage Party bros dipping the toes into aging/curing meats. 😲

-Edwards is broken. He's worse than Skal by a wide margin. At least Skal had a few solid games. Sad to see but middle of conference play is no time to attempt busting a season long slump. Hopefully the people around him are smart enough to keep the kid around for another year but I suspect he'll go play D League instead.

-Ugo is easily the best big right now. He fixes a lot of the defensive issues. Hoping Theiro is the key to the rest of the defensive woes once he gets his legs under him. Keep Reed keying the offense, the passing after he was up there was back to normal. Playing time should look very similar to that second half breakdown. The spastic revolving door line changes gotta stop. No chance at getting anyone in a flow with that BS. Time from Bradshaw and Edwards to either earn minutes or keep a seat warm. 2nd Half minutes from Sat = Reeves: 20, Reed 18, Mitchell 16, Ugo 15, Wager 15, Theiro 6, Bradshaw 4, Edwards 3.

-Watching my buddy’s #100 rotty this week. The bravado and oneups-manship between my #80 Potcake and him was pretty entertaining. Rotty is super sweet and ceded to my dog’s home turf.

-Woke up at 0324 and almost headed off for the gym but with #180 of dog in bed with me and it being a chilly 53 out, decided to sleep in and watch the rest of the late game. 2 dog night and whatnot.

Tough night for the University of Louisville with Baltimore losing. The last two athletes that Louisville fans had complete ownership of and nobody else could ever claim any fandom on ended up dead (Ali) and dead when it mattered in the playoffs (Lamar). Whose Louisville is it going to be now?

Was tough to pick a team to pull for in the late game last night. Both once proud cities that have turned into 3rd world countries- but I went with Detroit since they do have that really good Indian restaurant at that gas station that DocX was always clamoring on about.

Any win after starting 1-15 is definitely a "just get out of there" situation. That was tough to watch early on- I do like the move to Sheppard handling the ball in the second with Wagner playing off the ball a bit. Obviously Edwards is a concern- but Bradshaw is trending towards a worry as well. Recruiting High School players is great and all but our biggest contributors are arguably transfers. Reeves and Mitchell delivered some daggers. I already hate it for them that they will end up on WCC's list of shooters that go bust in march.

I'm far from a swiftie, but I guess I dont see the problem with a players girlfriend coming to games. She's not the one operating the cameras or in the producers ear to keep giving her as much attention as possible. I wonder if it would be different if she dated a likeable player. I'm much more OUT on the younger Mahomes brother who seems to be a complete chump.

Little one turns 2 in a couple days... Off to Disney World...

I must have been pouring a bourbon and missed this.

The past few years around this point in the season, the midpoint of the sec, we always have an underperforming freshman, that seems to have a game where things seem to “click”.

Question is, will it be the SGA, PJ type, or the Dontaie Allen, Collins, Skal, fluke?

I have this feeling that it’s Bradshaw this week.

Last week, the lineup began to click in the 2H, and everyone seemed comfortable in their roles.

Reed
DJ
Reeves
Mitchell
Ugo

Maybe AB is better coming off the bench, like Rob? Edwards is an enigma.

These freshman have all the talent, but those 2 still look a step behind, where as DJ, Rob and Reed seem to be better adjusted.

Would love to seem Bradshaw go off against UT, their backcourt plus Knect is as legit as it gets in the SEC, but their front court is more suspect than ours, and we are going to need all 21 feet this weekend.

The first game of the UT series at Rupp is a good thing imo. Surely by March 2nd we have it figured out. The talent is obviously there, but with Cal lately, who knows.

If this were ten years ago, I’d almost feel like we are a lock for the FF. However, until we get there, I just can’t see it. Luckily it’s the defense that needs work, and we have the tools to fix it.

Almost feels like the late Tubby era, (2003-2005) all over again.

A Final Four these days would feel exactly like it did in 2011. BBN is due.

Back to lurking….

Montrezzle, all-time dunks leader, imo.
