I just don't get what mags is trying to achieve with the Barnhart blasts. It's uncomfortable at this point. Does he want him to resign? Become cool hand luke or have Marsha from Pippa passes egg his house? What's the end result?
I'm concerned about the Coen comments today. I guess he can call guys but we need to lock up a QB before eoy. I'd recruit the hell against the ambiguity if I was an opposing coach.

I am not trying to “achieve” anything. I am expressing my opinion that Barnhart and UK better get their act in gear (along with JMI) over the next six months on NIL policy or else be ready to watch a dramatic reduction of ability to compete in recruiting/portal. They got a couple of major donations to deal with this year but I don’t see it happening again. On the alcohol issue, I am calling out hypocrisy which I think is totally fair

Keep in mind, Stoops and Marrow neither one have ever made excuses here. I think they have earned a little respect when they voice some concerns.
I would rather have the manager at my local Papa John's running out athletic department than this clown.

I don’t know enough to speak about it clearly, but I know UK did something. I understand the concern to do more, but the dramatic whining and crying is a bit much. UK Football seems just fine.

3-4 donors stepped up to keep our previous class around and help with this class. Per Brady the main NIL only has 700 people signed up with a goal of 15k. That's what needs to be pushed at this point, don't need Mitch to advertise that on KSR. Constantly complaining about Mitch just gives other teams the ammo they need to say we don't have any money.
In other words, if UK gets boatloads of cash, they can attract top players w/ a chance to win games.....and Stoops gets all the credit, statues, extensions, raises, etc. If they don't have the cash, and can't recruit on their name and coaching ability, and they lose games....not Stoops fault. Got it.

Is a collective that draws $1(or more depending on what you want to donate) per month from a persons bank account/credit card/etc. out of the question?
It seems like these current collectives are set up for big money experiences and the common UK fan is being ignored again.
How many thousands(maybe hundreds of thousands) would donate $1-$5+ per month without any expectations other than getting and keeping good players? Would something that pedestrian pass muster with UKAD or are only the big donor NIL's acceptable?

If I was AD, first, I would have a real life face-to-face chat with our world renowned, HOFC, lifetime AMBASSADOR to the program, John Vincent Calipari. You don't want to coach. Fine. You will get your jiving ass up to Rupp and hold a spectacular 24 hr telethon for NIL donations. Boom. Done. Cal lives for that shit, and it would give him the opportunity to talk for hourssssss about helping these poor student athletes, etc. It could be a bi-weekly thing.

There are a lot of really good restaurants here now. It is not even close to the same town it was in the 90’s.
We have open carry (alcohol) downtown and a thriving downtown weekend nightlife. Lots of good eclectic bars. Two breweries, one in the old greyhound bus station and one in the old Coke plant in midtown. I think two bourbon bars, but I might be wrong about that.
Midtown is getting a new look and new places springing up.
I don’t know how often you have been back since you left but I think you will be surprised
Sounds like I’m heading to Paducah tomorrow. Gonna get some craft beers and some strange.
