Ole Miss is a bunch of rednecks and can F all the way off.
It's the strangest place in the world.

The girls are all skinny and smoking hot.

The guys are all really plain looking and already have a gut hanging over their large belt buckle.

The Groove is cool, albeit overrated, imo.

The stadium is a shit hole band box. Like, they just need to tear it down and start over. Taking Vandy out of the mix it's by far the worst I've been in.

Judging by that “brawl” the guys are fighting, very poorly albeit, in sports coats as well. Who fights your own fans at a big game? 🤦🏼‍♂️

Man what a blown opportunity it’s we had but we’re still in line for what we wanted just have to beat UT now on the road.

Missouri almost did us a huge favor as well.

We’re not the old UK shooting ourselves in the foot over and over again but we sure as heck did yesterday.

Also, the amount of UK fans there was staggering. I assume LSU and Bama do that when they play there but we heard several say it was the best opposing team turn out they've seen.

The game was all time brutal because we were clearly the better team. It took us throwing out an all time self sabotage dick finger to lose.

Regardless, we'll be just fine. Let's take some frustrations out on the Cocks Saturday night and get back on track.

The ONLY silver lining from yesterday was that the team was able to continue to put those eff ups in the rear view mirror and battle into a position to win that game. The “old Kentucky football” gets run by 4 touchdowns under those circumstances.

I still think the offense in November will be potent. The o-line might never be great, but having great skill players will compensate.

However, I am not confident in the defense stopping a potent offense. The only real strategy seems to be to control time of possession and keep their offense off of the field. We get zero pressure on the QB and that’s not going to work.

Herro just got $130mm… Chad has to be happy!

A lot of people think that just because he only hit 18% of his threes in the NCAA Tournament, I don’t root for the guy. Not true. I still root for him despite his inability to hit even one of every five threes he took in the Dance for his Elite 8 team.

Today has been a particularly bad Sunday afternoon. Really dreading this week. For no reason really - dread is just such a horrible emotion. It’s the essence of the sunday scaries. I might quit my job in the morning. May apply for a position in the lawn and garden section at Lowe’s.
God, yes. I remember that Sunday pit in the stomach from my real lawyerin’ days.

FearTheBlue, you imply you found a better way. What was it? What was your path?
Federal government job. I sit at home (even pre COVID) and write social security disability decisions. Young me would have hated it. Perfect for nearing the end of career me.

No public contact. No phone calls (maybe 10 in near seven years). No voice mails awaiting me upon return from vacation.

Great time in Oxford. Posted up at Boure on square Friday night. Had a table on the balcony overlooking square, view of Homecoming Parade and the influx of BBN walking the streets.
Glad we stayed there, heard The Library had a $60 cover.
Heard Kelly Craft rented the upstairs blues bar across from Boure on Friday.
Grove was mayhem. Had tent, table, chairs, coolers all delivered. Brought our food and drinks in, relaxed, and stayed 2+ hours post game.
Stadium is nothing special but we were at top and views were great. Plus, beer.

I agree he seems to be more likable at Ole Miss than he was at UT or maybe it's because I know he made UT so mad they lost their minds and that makes me happy.
And just like that he went back to being unlikable again. I guess all it took was a little success over UK to turn him back into a douche. 🤣

Love the weather out there this weekend but turning the heat on in my car in the mornings the first weekend of October is not okay with me. 😤

-Will played a good game but did make some bad decisions. You can't do that shit with the game on the line. I know you gotta put it on you, but also consider who was in the backfield with you on that 3rd and 2 first fumble. I don't think he holds on to the ball too long as far as how long a QB should but with our protection, he needs to get rid of it.

-F abandoning the inside zone. With C Rod, you run the ball like the past 3 years. I like Scangarello and think he called a great game for the most part, but he forgets the weapon he had. Some of his play calls was like Jutahn or Smoke was the running back. You have one of the 3-4 best running backs in America now. Run the fu king ball with him.

-I dont think we need to focus so much on being a mirror of an NFL offense. If Will is good enough, he will get noticed. Pick the tempo up. We don't have to run hurry up but there is no reason not utilize the advantage our offensive weapons are by allowing defenses to get set up.

-I may be wrong but on that last play, as a slot guy not on the line, Brown is allowed to move right to left and doesn't have to be set.

- Chance Poore cannot hold a snap for shit and the little fat I-Talian meatball is slow. What about that kid from Boyle County? He hit a 60 plus yarder in 8th grade.

-Love the turnout of the BBN. I wish I had made the trip. Despite our past, nobody can say we don't have good football fans. I remember in 2009 a bunch of Auburn fans said that we were the loudest and rowdiest fanbase they've ever hosted at JH Stadium. Sounds like BBN made an impression on Oxford too.

Kentucky Cheated Out Of Win

That wasn't the game on that non-call but it still really pisses me off.
That website is BS and so is that sentiment. We played sloppy FB on O/ST, just like we have all season. It finally bit us. Very frustrating but acting like we lost b/c of a missed targeting, which I'm not even sure it should've been targeting, is horse shit. How about don't turnover the ball the last 3 drives? Maybe try to field a punt on the 20 yard line rather than allow it to be downed at the 1. Run the ball and punt rather than call a pass play resulting in a safety. Hit your chippy 30 yard FG. Don't blow 2 extry points.

The site just popped up on my google feed, never seen it before today and as I said that wasn't the game but it does suck knowing that Bryce Young or Stetson Bennett is getting that call.

Can't emphasize this enough. The punt receiving has been poor in deep spots all year.
Ruffalo was a real question mark coming into last year, as he was awful 2 years ago. He is back to that form.
Too many conversions on 3rd and long early for Ole Miss offense.
Smokes drop of the screen which would have led to a long gainer, into their territory, instead of a punt was an early killer.
Lot of things went negative and we still could have won.

In real time, the hit on Levis did not look like targeting. The replay made it look more like targeting. Either way, Kentucky continues to be on the wrong side of that call/non-call 95% of the time. Completely maddening.

Flax with a pulled hammy, Jones might be out a month or more, Smoke has a concussion, blech.

EDIT- Jones on the depth chart this week.

I'm still pissed off about the game. Much better team but that only counts on the scoreboard.

Outside of that, had a great time in Oxford. Spent a lot of time in the Square, which was pretty damn cool.

#Braves sept the Mets!

Pretty sure I'm still drunk.

-While Jones was helped off the field, Square and C Rod both ran across the field to give him a hug. I assume that meant he failed the ACL test. You don't see that very often. Could be wrong but I wouldn't anticipate him back. That's not inside sources just reading the situation.

-CathBack is looking fit af. Good seeing that guy. Sat in front of @ukguy78 which was a nice treat. Fairly certain half the state was at the game.

-Another week, another 3 or 4 days off school for kids. Not sure why I was so bent out of shape when our dipshit Governor shut down schools for a couple years. They apparently never go anyway.

-Ended fall ball in dominating fashion. Let's just be real, we were by far the best team. Should setup for a great Spring Season.

-Little dude finished 3rd in some invitational championship race down in Nicholasville on Friday. XC isn't too bad.

-Shrimp, andouille, crab cakes... very solid family dinner last night.

-Economy... you know... sheesh... and stuff.

-Silver lining to the cold dark rainy bitterness we're headed towards is the leaves are about to pop. Already showing signs. can get on board with dat.

-Kind of a bummer we don't have any decent FB road trips next year. UL, USC, UGA... I guess Vandy.

-Mississippi is the worst state. Indiana, Nebraska and Iowa have a dog in that fight... but Miss is the winner.

Lady came up to MCF's buddy, "you all going to have a sad trip home?" "No, I'll just be glad to get out of this shithole state." Blank stare. Anth = 🤣

Cross country has to be one of the more relaxing, stress free, enjoyable sports your kid can play. Sure I’m probably biased, but as a parent you’re sitting under a tree in a lawn chair, there’s no referees, and it’s more or less an individual sport.

Definitely looking forward to G one day turning into a superstar distance runner (like his uncle and grandpa).

G and I ran 3 yesterday. My normal pace these days is slow AF around 10 m/m. I’m not training for anything and just run to move and clear my head. My run with him was 8:37 pace. It included 2 races and then 3 sprints in the driveway. He’s so damn competitive. I do know I could beat him in distance though. He asked me if I’ve ever ran 100 miles at a time… no G, that’s only @PTI (pti).
