Also, I like Aaron Torres, but his little cutesy team specific twitter accounts are not good at all. Already had to unfollow. Not sure who he hired to run that account but it's awful.

I'm so sick and tired of shitty, grinding, ugly ass basketball. **** me.
Can't put it any better than that. Cal, aside from the W/L record, has done the unforgivable: He has turned watching UK basketball into a fvcking CHORE.

I wasn't just kidding around earlier. I'm finished watching this crap., until Cal either changes, gets fired, or quits.

Imagine being a UK fan and having to rely on the continued mindset that "maybe they have potential" or "if so and so would have played better then we couldve kept it close"

We are way behind other blue blood programs in recent years and getting slapped to open the season, coming off a year when we *almost* got to 10 wins gives this coach no margin of error.

Win every game or leave.

Well there is that sticky issue of the “Lifetime Contract”. Not sure how we get around that.

- Cal didn’t seem to care about winning this game. How else can one feel after seeing everything go through Tyty during a key second half stretch when it was obvious the kid was blinded by the lights?

- Tyty will be fine. MSG is a tough place to debut for a good-not-elite rook … but he was terrible.

- I love the Tschibwe experience. What a rebounding exhibition.

- Wheeler giveth and he taketh but he was pretty awesome overall. With help from his dipshit backcourt mates, perhaps he’ll settle down. Props to the sawed-off dad-bodded kid.

- Brooks showed some life in the second half. I don’t trust him.

- Grady needs to be more assertive and Cal needs to be more assertive in getting him in the offense.

- As usual, I liked what Toppin gave us overall. He guarded Pablo Rancho (as my dad pronounces it) as well as can be.

- I just don’t understand it with Allen. What else can the kid do to not get a heat-check couple of minutes?

- We’re going to be a good team. Not sure we’ll be good enough. Imagine our lack of elite talent and non-Tschibwe softness inside will eventually spell our doom. But there’s still decent potential and we could be fun. Some interesting parts, games and personalities.

- Next year we start back to being more talented than everyone. Kind of a bridge year but not necessarily a bad one.

Glad I wised up and nixed that December Vegas trip. Don't need a repeat of 2019's 0-2 disaster.

Goodness I can't believe I probably talked myself into this team not needing Cockburn at some point in the offseason.

Cal is the only coach in the building tonight that can amass the kind of talent we have and run 3 plays with no innovation. It's uncanny. This is not an interchangeable, dribble drive and defense team. He built this team to be a 4 out around Oscar and now is basically trying to let Tyty be Brandon Knight. It's touching dumb.

You know who would have waxed K, faked a cramp on the sideline for good measure and had this group clicking on all cylinders? Nate damn Oats.

I laugh at people that say Allen shouldn’t be in the rotation. In what world is it bad to have a 42% three point shooter who can space the floor and have to be guarded out to 23ft not an asset?

And he’s not some fat Clay County mountain honk. Kid had a 7’2” wingspan. He had our two most impressive individual performances of the season last year. It’s a dumb-f*** take.

Come on, we can’t have Allen out there getting beat on defense…straight line drives to the goal, getting bullied in the post, and giving up offensive rebounds.

Gotta D up like the guys getting all the clock tonight!
Brooks and Toppin at the 4 held a cramping Banchero to 22 points on 11 shots. Yeah, we'd totally lose something by playing some small ball.
