I'm not afraid to say it. This team will be very good. We may lose tonight. Cal will tinker with lineups throughout Nov and Dec driving the fanbase mad. But in the end, we'll be in the mix for a FF. I think we win tonight behind the energy and leadership of Wheeler. The C+ acquisition is about to turn in an A+ performance.

Not an IG guy, as I am OG, but appreciate BBDK, not just hitting a bar and going to a basketball game. If you got the time, do it right....I don't appreciate Nashville for SEC anymore as its overspend on hotel, go to bar, hear Don't Stop Believin 100 times (whatever happened to country), go home. Told the missus, next time we go, we will see more of Nashiville and try and avoid the Woo girls.

Still trying to figure out:

*Toppin - Trending quickly towards trusting him. Should get some small ball 5 clock...won't.
I agree 100% but I still LOL at our HOF coach plugging him into the 2 last season.
*Hopkins - Hasn't shown much but I like the cut of his jib. At some point he's going to get comfortable and be important for us.
Big Hopkins fan. I'd normally forecast him being a huge impact guy by the end of the season -- but I don't think Cal has a clue how to figure out the logjam (this key point will make or break our year). He's a monster if he plays an undersized faceup 4. He's wide AF but sneaky fast and agile. Dude understands how to get his huge shoulders by his guy. Would be a matchup nightmare.

Re: Wheeler, he GOES. He can be untrustworthy all/air. IDGAF. He pushes the pace and makes things happen either way. I'd rather that be the case instead of the alternative bullshit Askew fake probing ass dribble with zero intent. Washington will get so many open looks because of his (over) penetration. Can't wait. I'm ride or die w/ Sahvir Wheeler.

Wheeler is a f*cking pest. Only way to describe him.
Yeah. One of those little guys in pick up games who don't look like much but play super aggressive defense and dare the other team to call fouls.

I'm hoping that Washington steals the spotlight tonight. He's easily our best player and has that confident vibe meant for the big-time, a la John Wall.

Betting with NIL, this will start to be a trend- leave high school early, redshirt and get paid.

LOL, people saying "Music City Bowl" is dumb even for some of you dumbs. Vandy and NM State puts us at 8 wins. Worst case finish and think we finish 9-3. 8-4 would still get us in the Peach, Texas, or Gator Bowl.

Ole Miss (7-2) Has Texas A&M, Vandy, and @ Miss. State left, lose two, finish 8-4, Peach Bowl it out (currently projected)

UT (5-4) Has Georgia, S. Alabama, and Vandy left, Georgia loss put them at best 7-5 (Texas Bowl projected)

Auburn (6-3) Has a brutal 3 games, Miss. State, @SC, Bama. Lose 2/3 finish 7-5, best finish 8-4. Lose 2 and Gator Bowl (projected) is out. 8-4 UK at worst gets the bid.

Arkansas (6-3) @LSU, @Bama, and Missouri left. Lose the road games 7-5, best case 8-4. Projected to Music City Bowl, 2 wins (8-4) probably slide them up to Texas or Gator bowl.

Miss. State (5-4) @Auburn, TN. State, and Ole Miss left. Only 1 loss they finish 7-5. (Liberty Bowl projected)

Injuries to the D-Line causing a lack of pass rush has been our BIGGEST issue on defense. We knew that we lost a ton in the secondary, it was always going to be our weakest link. Lack of pressure on the QB only magnified it more. Get to full strength and you suddenly see it get a lot better. Still do not understand how some of you are crushed we lost @ Miss. State ? It is always a hard game there, nothing has changed. They beat A&M, Bama couldn't.

MY starting lineup tonight :
PG - Wheeler - His defense alone he should start, plus he is our best guy for up tempo and pushing the ball.
2G - Washington - Young and a big stage, but he has proven he can. Best shooter we have, and very crafty.
It looks like every shot is going in. Shot selection was bad against Miles College, clean that shit up youngblood.
SF - Grady - Veteran, proven scorer. Cal needs to run sets for him to get him shots he needs.
PF - Toppin - I just feel he gives more than Brooks, it won't happen, Cal will start Brooks, but MY lineup, Toppin gets the nod. He also provides better defense / rebounding than Brooks, who just doesn't give max effort the whole game.
C - Tshiebwe - Only rebounder, post player that can be counted on. Toppin can help, more so than Brooks.

Super Sub - Mintz - What he was originally brought here for, provide scoring and leadership off the bench.

Pending game situation, Brooks, Allen and Hopkins next. Spot minutes for Ware and Collins. (break glass in case of an emergency)

Win tonight, we are 9-0 before playing THE Ohio State and Louisville. Lets Get It. Nervous as a whore in church.

I'm intrigued by Sahvir Wheeler as our PG next year. He led the SEC in assists and was fourth nationally. He had 8 games with double digit assists. He also scored over 20 thrice along with a 19 pt game and an 18 pt game twice. His high was 27 at Florida vs Tre Mann towards the end of the season. The next game he put a triple double on LSU, the first in Georgia history.

I can easily see Wheeler dicing through the lane with any combo of Grady/Allen/Fredrick spotting up along the arc and our array of bigs positioning for a dish around the rim.
Posted on Apr. 26th, long before anyone else mentioned Wheeler.

I'm excited about Wheeler as a bookend to TyTy. Having a PG who's already navigated an SEC schedule, mentoring a freshman PG, playing with more talented teammates, what's not to like?

Having a steady hand to potentially steady the ship for freshman PG struggles, esp early in the year will be a huge blessing for this team and something that we're not used to having.

And players will normally get better year over year.

May 11th. Excited to see this tonight

-Was out walking my dog around 7:15 this morning and found a bag of blow on the ground. Stay classy, KW. Jesus Hardin Christ.

-Starting the new season of Yellowstone, it’s a damn good show if you haven’t started it.

-Starting to need some mountains in my life, could St. Thomas or Colorado be next? 🤷🏼‍♂️

-Working in a corporate environment is weird. People rat on other people about anything because it makes them look “better” or more loyal or something idk. I’ve just never cared what someone else is doing as long as they’re not making my job harder. Use some BOGO coupons you’ve stashed away to make yourself some extra cash or have a drink while working, go ahead I don’t care, doesn’t affect me. Just not my business. That’s how it’s been pretty much everywhere I’ve worked. You take an extra helping of the free lunch they make round here and someone will get an email. Just weird.

Sharpe is:

Canadian
19 before next years draft
In his 5th year of high school
Attending a basketball factory/prep school rather than a traditional high school

They can find a loophole to get him in the 22 draft if they really want to.

A beard? I’m clean shaven so I have no clue WTF you are saying weirdo.

What I’m suggesting is Vegas wins if we win.

Kanye has taken on an entirely new form. If I wouldn't have seen his name attached to the picture I would have never guessed it's him. Amazing what eyebrows can do.

Good calls but I would replace Maryland with Seton Hall. I don't trust Turgeon but I have full faith in Kevin Willard. Kadary Richmond will be a star for him.
