Toppin>Brooks and it’s not even close. He’s one of the best “basketball players” on the team. Whatever the best combination of 5 is, he has to be part of it.

I’m in wait and see mode on anything Kentucky Basketball related. And, if Cal walks onto the world’s most famous arena on Tuesday for the prime time showdown against Duke dressed like some hobo slob I’m throwing something at my television.

Mintz and Allen had same or less minutes than Ware, Hopkins, Toppin and Collins. If you thought he was going to play shooters, you were wrong. Same Cal.
It seems you guys are upset that our coach played a power forward as a guard/SF.
I hate that yal thought anything different would happen. Keon brooks didn’t come back to play PF and Hopkins didn’t commit to play PF.

Ware is our 7th best big off the bench, so of course he deserves 10+ minutes every night.
He only got stuffed twice and provided little-to-no energy while on the court,
Moved well out there... looked really quick IMO. No problem with him being out there switching late and giving poor help D and being simply another body with zero offensive presence.
Wish Cal would put him at the 3, if we're being honest. Really good at handing the ball off.

The shame of it is that he has assembled a roster with some really cool small ball lineup options…and we won’t see any of them.
We should have 6 guards splitting 3 positions and 6 bigs splitting 2 positions. Instead we’ve got the opposite with Grady being the only guard allowed to play the 3.

-Should be a good game tonight folks, and I think Mich St could get knocked off b y Purdue.
- Got a chance to buy some 18 yr Rye that is really damn good, and at a very reasonable price. But I dumped a ton of money into some other stuff in the last few months to stock up and have something for the next 2-3 years.
I’m a risk taker so I’m sure I’ll get these, but financially it feels like a terrible move at the moment.
- The corner of my pool dropped about 2inches just before we did the patio. Thankful but also irritated. Now I have to drain it to raise the corner and then get #5 rebar to set and make sure it never happens again after the patio is poured.
I considered starting up a pool company, but F that noise.
- At 84 Lumber our competitor is telling people they are 10 months out on windows.

Buddy is building a house and has been waiting 4 months and counting for the windows. They have no clue when they will come in.
-Shewboy the weather is amazing. Finally, 75, sunny, a bit breezy but dog walk felt fantastic this AM. Still cracks me up every time this weather hits though, tourists in bikini tops and tanks, locals start dawning jackets and beanies. I for sure had my 1/4 zip pullover on the scoot ride to the gym 30 minutes ago.
-Need to get back out in the ocean a few times before it’s too cold to get in though, that’s for sure.
-Kid Rock just slowly trekking around on a beach cruiser this morning as Buster and I were taking our walk.
-Watched 5 minutes of the game last night and turned it off, better things to do than watch us struggle versus Miles. Went out with the dog to meet up with some friends in town and smash oysters.

Worked at the Lair with my best bud for a couple years. Talked my way into not being in the kitchen or register and just walked around sweeping and mopping “dirty areas” while talking up the lassies. Man, back when a gal didn’t care you were a janitor at K-Lair that was good times. They also knew I’d bring a sack of burgers over afterwards though which helped.

Give them credit, the UC signs brought it at GameDay. Everything they do is basically stolen from UK (cats by 90, for instance) but I’ll take it as an homage. Absolutely packed out. I had forgotten it that if you want to actually hear anything at GameDay, you might want to just stay home, but still a fun time. The people who brought in the Hell Is Real and Clemson flags can get extra turbo pumped though. Losers.

Will go ahead and make this point as far as the bball team goes: If this team is going to lean on Brooks as being it’s go-to man, that’s going to be a concern. I really like the guy and what he brings, but he’s too inconsistent offensively to leaned on as “The Dude” imo.
Also, the development of Askew under Beard is something else I’m going to be keeping my eye on. Not saying, just saying . . . know what I’m saying?
