The tigers showed great restraint to not go ahead an maul this idiot so as not to risk euthanasia but I wish they had.

Had lunch with Peter Gammons at Peg Leg Pete's once upon a time (sat across the isle from him). He was down in Ft. Walton covering the Braves spring training. Nice fellow, enjoyed his seafood as best I can remember. Nothing wrong with PLP, some of you are trying too hard, it is FN Pensacola Beach. And the boardwalk is a nice little spot to bar hop and get Effed up as a lab rat. The next thing you know, people will be shitting on McGuire's .10 bean soup.

Tuesday afternoon randoms///

Closed a big deal yesterday, been about 5 years in the works. Paying off investors and gaining equity sure does feel good. 🙂

Started actually tearing into a remodel today for the first time in two years. Gonna be a fast and furious one too.😬

Rounded up all the parts to finish changing the manifold on my flatbed. If anyone is interested in a 95 f350 dually with a 10ft flat on the back and low miles, let me know. 🧑‍🔧

Keeping the dump truck though. It's got a much bigger engine and transmission with pto 🍆

We need to whip the vols this weekend. They'll be ready after what we did to them last year. Gonna be a slugfest with some big plays imo. If the team that shows up is what we got for UF and LSU, then we win. Otherwise its going to be some real readass🤬

Booked next summer's HHI house this week. Walk to private beach, backs up to backwaters with it's own dock and kayaks.😁

The Braves spring training that has been in Orlando or further south since WWII? Those Atlanta Braves?

You might have run into him but he wasn't covering their spring training in Ft. Walton.

That begs the question- what is the food cognoscenti absolute ranking of Asian cuisine? I believe this will separate the amateurs …

Congrats on the deal and your new watch.

Wodie used to hold that Robin Garr dude in such high regard. If any place got Robin’s seal of approval he was all over it and if you enjoyed a place that Garr did not you might as well forget it. You were a just some dumbass simpleton run of the mill hobo with pedestrian taste. If you insisted you still enjoyed a place or a particular dish that wasn’t Robin Garr approved you would get rapid fire threatening texts from Wodie including the patented “tread lightly, final warning.”

We’re talking food here, you sickass.

Still remember when Chad thought he was hot shit b/c he "only" ate Snyder's of Hanover brand pretzels.
One time in NYC, I was taking measurements of a billionaire’s co-op at 778 Park for a renovation project.

When I opened one of the pantry cabinets (to note the depth), I discovered a bounty of bags of Snyder’s of Hanover brand pretzels. I forget the flavor, but it was around six linear feet of fully stocked shelves of pretzels.

And then I thought, if I was worth $4.5 billion, I would also encourage my live-in servants to make sure I never ran out of my favorite pretzel.

You’re in good company, Chad.

Why do I remember 73 talking about seeing Robin Garr wondering aimlessly around Trader Joe’s with a basket?

Interesting take... I would argue that there's a lot of Golden Corral quality Indian food, but when it's done right it's very good.

Yes, literally any food done right tastes very good except extremely rare exceptions. Indian food as a whole though is heavily spiced, carb heavy, with lots of cheeses, creams, and low cuts of meat. I feel like absolute ass after eating it and can’t imagine eating it regularly, which is a HUGE factor for BEST anything.

COUNTERPOINT: You have herpes.

And WTF are you ? The resident baseball nerd ? I bet you take your little OFFICIAL scorers book with 3 brand spanking new sharpened pencils with you to keep score at the games. Probably even argue with THE score keeper whether it should be scored a hit or E6. Trust me, I see your types all the time at games, wearing the little dicky shorts, short sleeve plaid shirt, church shoes with dress socks, wearing glasses sitting over in the corner by yourself scoring like you are important. The point remains, I ate lunch with MF'N Peter Gammons in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Braves or no Braves he was there, maybe he was scouting for a professional score keeper. You should have been there, you might of got noticed and got your ticket to the Big Leagues. You ruined your chance Buddy if I run into to peter again, you will not get a rec. Belee Dat. Now, be a smart ass to me again.

You didn’t eat lunch with PG if you were sitting across the aisle from him you fvcking idiot. You eat with someone whilst sitting across the table from them. I’m sure he felt uncomfortable the entire time with you leering at him.

I also keep score at baseball games, mainly because it keeps me involved and it’s something I’ve done since I was a kid. Not a big fan of the attire you threw out above, though.

Also, up until a few years ago I kept score for every basketball game. Growing up me and my buddy Craig worked the scoreboard and kept the book for the elementary games. Craig ran the scoreboard and I kept the book, good money for a couple of kids. Somewhere I’ve got scorebooks from every season dating back to 1985 or so. Except for the 2012 page which is under glass along with a bunch of other things from that run. Guess I’m just a nerd, don’t GAS.
