-NYT has it's issues, mainly it's incredibly slanted, but they still put out some quality stuff, their morning brief emails are fantastic, and the recipe site is really good. Pretty cheap too. Adding WSJ makes me feel more balanced.

-Just like I tried telling you all in May '20 with the epic issues with unemployment, like in California and Kentucky, I also told you Cuomo was a scum bag and falsifying nursing home covid numbers. About time that douche nozzle is brought down a notch. I mean, he leads the world in deaths per million and wrote a book how to successfully handle covid. Lol. Listen to ol Anth, tea leaves reader extraordinaire. Basically I'm always right. Really excited for all the folks that used this for political gain get their turn at the guillotine.

-Washington would be WAY down the list. Let's fireball here. Davis, Ulis, Fox, Wall, Knight, Cousins, Randle, Noel, Quickley, Booker, MKG, Murray, Patterson, Lamb. I'll stop there, probably leaving a few out.

-I recognized most of 80's F5 rock songs. So they must be really good.

-Side note, we just launched a plumbing department to compliment our electric and hvac services. Only in Lex right now but widespread soon.

-Speaking of working out, I hate kettle bells b/c they're commie trash, but kettle bell skull crushers are DAF.

-Not sure what we're going to end up with, snow or ice, but Monday and Tuesday are going to be shit show. 5 years worth of missing cold weather shit patterns jammed into one February.

-Anyone work with leather? Going to try and make a few sheaths for some knives I've made. I have the leather but I've never tried this shit before. Basic af is the goal. Advice, required tools?

-Last weeks wanda is a little fuzzy from lots of booze, may need to rewatch before tonight's.

-Rax, what's the best bat for Tee Ball mashing? He's more perfect form base hit than long ball if that makes a difference.

-Stagg Jr night.

Finished 'Halt & Catch Fire' last night -- was skeptical after a few episodes, but glad I stuck with it...that really rounded into a fantastic drama.

Don't recall much discussion about it ever on here, although I'm sure there was some. Highly Recommend.

-Cecil Hotel was pretty solid, although the conclusion was what I thought all along...and they conveniently waited until the final 10 minutes to address why (which was fairly obvious to me after the 2nd episode). I'm about as anti-conspiracy as it gets, but will admit some of those synchronicities were pretty damn wild.

Made me wonder -- Are there good docs about LA's Skid Row? Place just seems like it's own sad insular world.

Anth - can’t you just STFU for a little bit? Maybe a week. It would do you some good.

And maybe you’re the slanted one- ever think about that?

I did enjoy the point of Cecil Hotel that they made about online conspiracy detectives that mistakenly ruin lives without any repercussion to themselves, are complete and total losers.

Loved when the one YouTuber (from no telling where) said something like "I've spent hours studying this case, and have to say I WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree with the coroner's findings"

-Also, I could definitely see BonzoLogic rocking out to some Morbid.

That self righteous twat who did that podcast on the Georgia high school teacher was the worst.

Imagine Sarah Koenig isn’t too pleased with what she made popular.

The only argument against popping Davis in for Sars, assuming the substitute has to play the same position, is that it doesn't remove Boston from the equation.

Davis is a huge gain, but so is losing Boston.

All of it. Boasting has no place here. Try some humility.

And I don’t appreciate how reasonable your response is either. Eat shit.
Seems like you're dancing around the question, I just need to know what really irked you so I can up the frequency I mention it in the future. I fI know it bothers you, and likely SAE, then it's a win-win. I'll send you a focus group style survey monkey. Let's see what triggered you.

Anth - I would assume eastern LL abides by the USA bat rules. The Marucci Cat is probably your best option. If he ends up playing summer tourneys you can use the USSSA bats which are much hotter.

Can I buy, roll, and repaint an illegal bat? Also, what age did you start with the "performance enhancing" supplementation?

You actually CAN slap a USA sticker on any bat and it be approved in tee ball. At least it was that way when my 9yo was in tee ball. I actually just sold my “good” tee ball bat a few weeks ago. Would’ve given it to you. 2017 blue and white Demarini zen, non-retooled. Goat. Kids can handle roids at an early age, they’re pretty hardy.

The answer is Anthony Davis, for any team and any situation. He is a generational talent.

Take him off the table and I probably go Ulis. We are in need of someone that makes everyone else better because we suck so bad. He probably addresses our areas of need the most.

Anthony Davis is probably the best overall talent to ever play at UK, but we're viewing it through the lens of what AD is now, not what AD was at the time. Plus, Cal would not have him shooting the ball much, and who would get him the ball even if he did?

The biggest "fix" for this UK basketball team is an elite point/lead guard. Who that would be is debatable. John Wall or Brandon Knight would be at the top of the list. Jamal Murray would work. Just for the college game, I might even take Tyler Ulis. This team needs a fighter, too.

Might want to give this one a shot.

Just need about 500 words from catsfagbgky in 24-48 hours or so and we can close this topic, hopefully.

You could stop this. All you have to do is start some inane discussion about pizza or best condiment and the people will follow. They’ll get into it and turn it into a 4-page discussion and you’ll count your “likes” and revel in the food talk.

But you’re too F’ing lazy.

OK here it is. I know you have been waiting.

Funny the guy used 2nd year IQ for Boston. Would you seriously trade Boston for 1st 19 games IQ ? Eff NO.

I agree with the one poster, if we could sub in
Wall
Murray
T. Jones
AD
KAT
We would probably solve all of our problems, and would not be 5-13, might even make the tournament.

The real answer is this, we all know a elite PG is a must for Cal's system to work. So,,,,

BASED ON FRESHMAN YEAR ONLY (only fair to Askew)

John Wall for Askew. 16.6 PPG / 6.5 Assist / 4.3 RPG. His speed and ability to penetrate would really change this team. The 2 steals per game would add easy buckets. Not to mention, He a DAWG.

2nd choice - SGA. 14.4 PPG / 4.1 RPG / 5.1 Assist / 1.6 steals. Better shooter than Wall, 50% 2FG / 40% 3 FG.

I took a bunch of students to Pasadena for the national championship game many years back and we did a service project that involved serving meals at a mission in Skid Row. The only thing i truly remember is thinking "This is not a place for me and a group of Pi Phi's to be casually walking through" I counted the people in our group every couple minutes.
