The sense of urgency and "pace" Hagans provided completely changes the dynamic of this team.
- Travis proved to me today he can play fast. Didn't think he could thrive up tempo yet there he was, running the floor and sealing the shit out of his guy.
- Take your lumps with Hagans and sell out to him, Cal. This team won't hit its ceiling without that little hellraiser disrupting everyone's shit. He'll be hitting that little runner come Feb.
- PJ and that back door wrinkle broke their back.

Hagans *only* (lol) had 7 steals? Seemed like 17
Doesn’t take into account how many times Coby dribbled it off his dick OOB either, he was a MESS.
Other than maybe Hawkins vs Chris Thomas, I cant recall a more disruptive/dominating defensive performance against a stud PG. I axed for it and my wish was granted. Props young man.

I will say, as good as Hagans was today, he needs more on offense. The runner, stop and pop or a good jumper go a long way to making him more than what he already has become. Very excited by what I saw today and am stoked about tomorrow's christmas celebraish at Grandma's. We have one outside of the family that is a UNC fan who will take a lashing.

Agreed, I just see so much of what Teague provided and want to be greedy. It's more Wile Turkey 101 talking than anything. We don't win today within Ashton playing out of his mind but I also see the potential if he develops as mentioned.
I think Herro is pretty dope. His shots aren't a sure thing yet...but he rarely makes the wrong play. He'll be a 18-20PPG guy next year.
Considering where Hagans was just 3 or 4 games ago lets give him a few games to develop his O.
I mentioned this earlier this week, but He’s still not quite yet *ready* to finish a play. He missed several layups bc he wasn’t ready or committed to making them.
It’s the final step for him to be what he need - after this, I have confidence he gets there.
How we won is what’s got me excited...
Settled on a PG#1, a rotation, an offense with flow and space. We didn’t even shoot it that well and beat a legit top 10 squad.

Herro is a second playmaker out there, he just understands basketball.

Herro is money when he steps into the 3. The others will start falling.
Lastly, a very Draymond like performance by PJ today. He’s not gonna last 4 years here, but if he did, he’d have a similar career arc developing as an overall player.
He’s got a long way to go to be that obviously, but that’s his prototype game if he’s gonna succeed at the next level.

UNC fans were crying all game about refs, etc...when my dad (not even a UK fan, Cincy fan) corrected one in the second half that we had 7 fouls to their 1...it got really prickly for a bit with the back and forth. I shut UNC superfan up really quick. F*** em.

Duke ran us, we beat UNC...and UNC will beat Duke. Not that it really matters, but come late February it will happen, come full circle. Rock-paper-scissors.
UNC fan yelling, "DUKE BEAT YALL BY 30!!!!" while walking out after the game sums up their fans perfectly.
On top of it all, I just booked my house for Mardi Gras. $4,800 for 6 days. That works.
Hagans absolutely ruined poor lil Buckwheat’s Christmas.
