You should talk to Uncle Ben pregame in Football.

I'm telling you Adrian, if we can come out and score quick and get a turnover or two, I think we can take this one. Alabama is damn good, but they aren't invincible. I've seen it happen before in situations like this. Here, let's do a shot of Patron, I'm feeling it now.

Most positive dude in the history of the world...and it's not John Short type blind homerism. He'll tell you 100 reasons why we CAN DO IT!!! -- dude would have been a great motivational speaker.

Of course, he's also the luckiest man I've ever met -- to which he claims "You make your own luck". After all the years of hearing that from him, I think I actually believe it now.

* Gabriel fancying himself as a 3-point specialist is 100% on John Calipari. Why in TF does he allow that?? With his size/length/athleticism, he should be all over the court, and his outside shot should just be a nice addition to his game. I've never understood why coaches allow players to do that.

The kid needs to back up Willis and Bam each for about 5 minutes a game and *nothing* more. The guy tries and he's got potential but right now he's just bad.

It does not help that Cal brought him in selling him as CAN YOU GET THIS?!?!?! A 6'10 SMALL FORWARD!!! WOW! WOOOOOOWWWWWW!

Also, no more Aussie unless the other team has a huge big. I can't watch him not rebound any more. I'm turning into Richie. Pity the next barkeep with a mustache and an arrogance about mixology.

Mulder is just going to be the odd man out minutes wise. Cal has a man crush on Hawkins, as he should, and all those other guys are headed to the draft. Still getting more clock than Dodson.

Can you transfer reservations to another person? I have the Marriott West End Ave booked for Saturday night of the SEC Tourney I'm going to end up canceling.

It's $249/night plus tax (pretty good for that weekend in Nash) if anyone is looking for a room.

Since I'm not looking that crap up myself who's ranked #1 in luck?

You guessed it.

Frank Stallone.

Sister and bro in law sold their pimp ass condo overlooking the city in Chicago and moved to NASHVILLEZOMG in the fall. Selfishly I was pissed bc they had a rooftop patio and 2 spare bedrooms I could uses any time and I also don't really get all of the hype about Nashville.

Haven't been down to the MUSICCITY!!1 to see their new place yet because of everything going on with the Lil lassy but may get on down there next week to check it out and use the visit as an excuse to stumble on over to Broadway to get loose and conversational with The Faithful. We shall see.

-Gabriel needs to stay off the floor other than maybe giving Bam a breather when we're playing a small team. Play him over Humphries unless we're just playing a brute.

-Drives me insane that he won't keep 2 shooters on the floor at the same time. We have 3. Sub accordingly. How does a lineup of Humphries, Monk, Dom, Briscoe, Gabriel score? How do you end up with that lineup on the floor? Especially 10 minutes into the game coming out of timeout.

-Also drives me crazy when he immediately pulls a dude after hitting a big shot. Mulder finally breaks the lid off, scores 5 in a row, then better put him on the bench. This happens all the damn time.

-I like, "Greatest Tradition in the History of CBB." I don't like that we eliminated the C-A-T-S cheer pre-game for that stupid horse racing video.

-Storms were wild this morning. 2 hours. Blah.

We arent a team thats going to press for long periods but I really like it for short spurts. Teams have slowed us down so a few minutes to force them to speed up could be an answer. Going to give up some layups, but it creates some havoc and it looked like the guys actually enjoyed defending that way. Maybe the way to improve a lackluster, sometimes lazy half-court defensive team is to force them to play full court where they can run around like maniacs for a bit.

Sounds like yall effed up the pregame festivities since I last visited Rupp. Is it still Basketball Time in the Bluegrass?

Kentucky - Vandy

7:41 AM
Vandy leads 25-6 with 8 minutes to go in the first half...goes 2-9 w/ 5 turnovers the rest of the half.

Complete meltdown in losing this game, but it was Vandy.

Zero replies [laughing] That obsessed loser does this every game, and rarely gets a single reply. They hate him there, too.

Some of my favorites from last night.

Propose to your girlfriend on your own time, dickhead.

Then go golf. Get the hell out of here, Cool Guy.

Go F yourself, we're playing great and the refs suck. That better, you homer pussy?

Go play soccer Cool Guy, get out of here.

If Willis isn't shooting AND hitting 3s, he's worthless. Absolutely worthless. At least Wiltjer had an excuse- he's slow. Willis is just a puss.

Nice elbow there, Kornet!

Refs killing us again. We would be up 20

Why are you watching the basketball game?

So I can bitch about the refs. How about you?

By all means, take your fat fairweather ass to the golf course, bowling alley, taco house or wherever then. Get the hell out of here.

Nice job Willis, you stupid bitch.

Richie's lack of love for golfing and Nashville have to be the most surprising factoids in GYERO.

You can't pigeonhole this dude.

Speaking of golf, the Rules Changes proposal is pretty significant, although long overdue.

http://www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/test-item-graphics/

I'll be making serious use of this one by taking my drop from 1.1 inch above the best possible area:

New rule: The only requirement is for the player to hold the ball above the ground without it touching any growing thing or other natural or artificial object, and let it go so that it falls through the air before coming to rest; to avoid any doubt, it is recommended that the ball be dropped from at least one inch above the ground or any growing thing or object.

Current rule: Stand erect, hold the ball at shoulder height and arm’s length.

This one is unreal. Apparently, you can now ground your club in a hazard

Player moves loose impediments, touches the ground with hand or club or grounds the club in a penalty area when the ball is in the penalty area

New rule: No penalty.

Current rule: Loss of hole/2-stroke penalty (with exceptions).

Nashville is a nice weekend trip, spot. But the real estate prices there are bonkers. Not sure the rest of the city warrants that kind of price tag to live there.
