Green Bay guard Anthony Roy is entering the transfer portal, averaged 25.7 points in 11 games played this season.

Should be an interesting one.
Also only played 16 games the year before.
3 years, 3 schools, 8, 16 & 11 games.
This year in those 11 games, put 30 on Ohio St, 17 on Providence, and 27 on Oklahoma St.
made 4.4 3's/gm.

What were the supposed character issues?

New Mexico State basketball player Anthony Roy on probation from 2021 felony

Why Doug Gottlieb benched Anthony Roy, the NCAA’s leading scorer

“I owe it to the guys to play the guys that do what we ask them to do,” Gottlieb said.

“There’s things that transpired that I don’t find appropriate to play today, and I made the personal decision to not play Anthony Roy. I know how I want to do it and too many times in my life, and probably too many times in the last six months, I’ve acquiesced based on this or that — it’s not just based on this situation.

Gottlieb benched him for missing shoot around, and then he just so happened to miss the rest of the year due to an "injury." Never mind that he has a felony on his record and continuously bounces from program to program because he's a cancer.

The stillwell kid from Milwaukee visited penny hardaway this weekend he plays in the same league as Anthony man would love to get stillwell but does not appear to be happening he loves to pound the boards

Seems injury prone, and while I am generally a believer in second chances, I am not wild about having a convicted felon on the roster.

I’m a Bengals fan. I’ve seen my fair share of criminals wearing that jersey. Lol

I think the felony stems from receiving cannabis in the mail, and possibly something else. It's just incredibly stupid to get anything in the mail like that, especially in Idaho. Idaho has draconian cannabis laws, among the worst in the nation.

That said, I'd be more concerned about the involvement in the aftermath of the shooting in NM.

I may be against the grain here but I think he is one of the most interesting transfer candidates currently in the portal. Troubled, sure, but with the right mentorship he could be a total rockstar.

Not only will Pope pass that like a hot potato, Mitch would probably say a hard no as well. This is Kentucky not UofSmell. We don't need major off court issues

Maybe, but the last thing you need is someone to say they'll do what it takes, get here, then start being a culture problem.

Sounds like a good player but never on the floor.
