Greatest UK Commits To Never Suit Up

Dirk Nowitzki has always said that he would have gone to UK, if he had gone to college. Don't think he ever actually committed though. While I'm thinking internationally, got to add Enes Kanter to the list (edit: looks like bko beat me to it on Kanter).

Kemp is the only correct answer , he actually was committed . He would have went down as one of the greatest ever at UK , would have had the best highlights for a cat .

Maybe that's the problem with Poythress , he's working so much tail that's he's shot by game time . This is something I've never told but I was in Lexington on Harrodsburg rd close to where the apartments are down Anglianna Avenue the week of the final four weekend . I saw Marcus Lee walking hastily with this big bone brunette who had healthy cans . You could tell they were going to get it on , just too obvious . Whole team played tapped out , safe to say college groupies are killing the program .

Thought that also,Ralph Sampson picked up the wrong hat,King Kelly Coleman thought about it

How about Dirk Nowitzki? It was between tuning pro or coming to UK if I remember correctly. He still thinks of himself a Wildcat.

Didnt tubby miss out on a lot of really good coll players.

I remeber the shooter from ky that went to tenn. Then of course the kid that ended up at FL and was a huge part of back to back championships. And didnt Hansbraugh want to come to Ky? Not sure you can blame Draymond on him, but who was the big who wanted to come to ky and voiced it, but tubby so him no attention?

I know their were more that i just cant remember. Now none of those players NBA all stars, but they all we're great coll players. And the type of players i think would of done well under Tubbys type of coaching.

But looking back Kemp not only ended up being a stud, but he would of been part of a team that was set to give UNLV a run at that time.

Looking back i could be wrong but i remember Rex would of been like a JR or SN, Chris Mills, Manuel, Leron Ellis, Derek Miller. Those are guys just off the top of my head. I may have some classes running into each other. I try to think if Rex had stayed 4 years who would of played in that time. Was their not a big guy from Texas that never made campus?

Ralph Sampson. Joe B thought he was signed, sealed and delivered. According to the story, Sampson stuttered and shuffled around and picked up the virginia hat. UK was shocked. Would have played with Bowie I think. Wow

Maybe not the best but Bill Willoughby decided to turn pro instead of play for Kentucky. If I'm not mistaken it was the same year as Dawkins.

Same year......Pooh....unlike DD, didn't do much in the pros.

I believe that is correct. I was waiting for someone to mention Bill (Poodles) Willoughby.

if draymond green plays at his current level for the next three or four years, then he's a greater player than kemp

not nearly as exciting though

II know he went straight to the NBA, but we ever in play for Kevin Garnett? I can't remember if he was even considering college. It's been too long ago and I'm not getting any younger.
