He changed his crystal ball picks tonight.

Chose UK for Caleb Swannigan.

Chose Kansas for Newman, Brown, Ingram and Bragg.

Rashad Vaughn, Stanley Johnson, and Emmanuel Mudiay to Kentucky.

Right Jerry?

Meyer will change his picks many times before Swanigan, Brown, Ingram and Newman announce.

OP,

Just looked it up. Meyer chose UCLA for Brown.

He'll probably change his prediction again by next Monday.

Meyer has Zimmerman to UCLA and that's so out of left field it's difficult to wrap your head around.

No one flips his picks as much as Jerry does. A second cousin of a friend of a brother of a ball boy who was around the team in 2008 could tell him something, and he'd flip his pick.

I know he's respected in the recruiting game for a reason, but the Crystal Ball's existence has done him no favors.

He's probably overplaying the idea that Newman wants to play the point in college.

Also, KU is likely losing Oubre. He's heating up. He's averaging 16 points and over 8 rebounds/game over his last four games. Also, he's shooting the three at an impressive clip now, with his three point percentage up to 48% on the year, and 11-20 over his last five games from three.

If these recruits are dumb enough to play for Bill Self and lose to Stanford in the tournament, eff 'em all.

None of that "wish them well," nonsense. If you can't see UK is a superior product, I hope you fail.

I approve this message.

I really love it when you go to some boards (Louisville) and see how they get all bent out of shape regarding the "expert" picks of CBSSports. Now I know they are right from time to time on a recruit without ever changing their pick, but a majority of the time, they change it a few days out when everyone "in the know" already has a strong indication of where the kid is committing. That site is for entertainment only, but its humorous that some people put so much stock in it.

Kansas doesn't need guard/wings. They need two bigs, one of them preferably a shot blocker.

These "services" are just another layer of parasites. Don't feed them anymore and they may just go away. Seriously, they provide absolutely nothing to anyone but themselves. Their evaluations usually suck or are no better than any knowledgeable person's would be. All they do is follow teenagers around the country and read the tea leaves from time to time or publish a rumor. This dude's crystal ball is exactly that, while these guys make their livings as the byproduct of a hard-working kid's college choice. It's bizarre.

He doesn't even have the excuse (like I do) of blaming that kind of thinking on cancer and pain meds. Weird, man. And I'm not even in the business of being out there for predicting where recruits will go. Sheesh !

Sounds like he's churning his predictions for web hits.

Meyer also has Diallo headed to Iowa State.

Essentially, of Ingram, Brown, Zimmerman, Rabb, Newman, Swanigan, Diallo, Bryant and Bragg, Meyer only has Swanigan headed to Kentucky.

Certainly has to be addidas influence with Bragg, Brown and Ingram and no way in hell are 3 wings going their especially when ku has 2 wings that arent going anywhere next year.

Just looked it up. Meyer chose UCLA for Brown.

He'll probably change his prediction again by next Monday.

UCLA hired the old Atlanta Celtics AAU coach as as assistant and lead recruiter. That's why Georgia has had a nice pipeline to California. Jordan Adams, Jason Parker, and now maybe Jaylen Brown.

Jerry Meyer is the worst in the business. THE WORST. 24/7 is also the worst in the business.

Not sure I trust his source...

Meyer is certainly off on that prediction. I don't see Kansas getting all four.

Sounds like Bragg is a safe bet for Kansas. And Meyer has Brown going to UCLA.

Wouldn't shock me if they get Newman and Ingram. But man will it suck if UK misses on two more top small forwards (Brown and Ingram). These guys would kill it under Cal, always surprising to me when they go elsewhere.

hes wrong more than he is right. No one listens to him. He does this to get hits from UK fans.
We have the number 1 class every year, and every year he litterally guesses wrong on who we will get. And by the way, he said Brown to UCLA not Kansas. He also said Zimmerman to UCLA

He just changed his Zimmerman pick to UK, prefaced by this tweet:

Sometimes u get intel that trumps all previous intel. Changed Stephen Zimmerman #Crystalball pick. http://t.co/qCiXnTEf2n @ChrisFisher247

Damn, hope he's right!

Meyer = best in the business (unless he changes that pick)

If Kansas pulls in all of those recruits, I will kiss Jerry Meyer's feet. I think they will get Bragg, Diallo and Ingram. I think we get Newman, Zimmerman and Brown to finish out the class. A great class for Kansas but a better one for UK. I believe our roster next year will look like this:

Ulis
Booker
Lee
Poythress
Dakari
Hawkins
Willis
Matthews
Briscoe
Skal
Brown
Newman
Zimmerman

That would put us at our maximum 13 scholarships.

Platooning for a second straight year, with the two teams looking like this:

Ulis
Booker
Brown
Skal
Dakari

Briscoe
Newman
Poythress
Lee
Zimmerman

Leaving spot minutes for Matthews, Hawkins and Willis.

Out of everyone I have listed, I think the highest probability of any of these kids not being here next year is Brown and Dakari. Lets hope we land Brown and keep dakari one more year.

247Sports national analyst Jerry Meyer made another change to his Crystal Ball predictions Tuesday, but it wasn't in favor of Kentucky.

Meyer is now predicting that five-star center Stephen Zimmerman will choose hometown UNLV. He previously had the 7-footer going to UCLA.

Meyer also made several changes to predictions involving UK recruits Monday. Indiana center Caleb Swanigan is the only class of 2015 recruit that Meyer has going to UK.

He told the Herald-Leader last week that if he didn't have UCLA predicted for Zimmerman, he would probably pick UK. But as he tweeted Tuesday after changing the pick: "Sometimes you get intel that trumps all previous intel."

Matt Jones says we either get the twins back or Newman. I tend to think he has pretty good connections. It's hard to gauge who UK will get because Cal doesn't leak info. Unless we get players back, we will have the #1 class. Almost guaranteed.

Pardon my french, but why in the hell would a 5 star player pick Kansas over UK? UK has more NCAA championships, more Final Four, more NCAA tourney wins, more all-time wins, and in head-to-head match ups, UK dominates Kansas. We have a larger fan base, better facilities, the list goes on and on. But more than anything else is the fact that Kansas is well known for losing in the 1st round to some 15 seed or in the 2nd round to some 8 or 9 seed. Since Cal has been at UK, has UK ever lost in the first or second round? If these recruits can't see this then they deserve Kansas!

That info is out of date. Not really the Herald-Leader's fault though because Meyer changed it twice in one day. Once to UNLV at 12:39PM; then to Kentucky at 4:35PM. I think that's what prompted his "new intel" tweet - he probably felt he had to explain his change after just 4 hours.
