I somewhat enjoy your positive spin on things to counteract my pessimism. I'll give you this. We have a chance to go 40-0 until we lose our first game.
40-0 is almost impossible to do. Especially on the road. We haven't had our first true road game yet. I wouldn't dare say anything 40-0 until we got into the sec tournament. I wouldn't say it then because I'd feel it would jinx our team.
Exactly 10 yrs after the Cats came up short in the semis and finished 38-1; Mark’s Makers get it done and shock the world!!!

I have zero expectations that this UK team will go 40-0. Maybe in a few years when coach Pope has a roster with 5 or 6, 5-Star recruits to go along with 5 or 6 upperclassmen through the transfer portal, then maybe.
Not being able to grasp the uber new concept of not only immediate transfer but pay for play as well; is why I believe so many have been duped by the quality of this UK group not to mention just how great of a Coach Mark Pope is.
This is the only logical explanation why so many of you cant come to terms with just how good this team is.
But its understandable because the supposed AP poll cb gurus ranked UK #23 and after just 3 gms into the season UK made a 10 spot jump in the AP from 19-9 (its largest ever).
Now, here in lies the rub:
All of these guys or at least 10 of them were cherry picked from across the nation to not only play at UK but to play in the Thoroughbred-Race Horse, up and down, shoot the 3 and play D style that is Mark Pope’s.
You thought, a new coach, a new system with all new players right?
Well after we dismantled #6 Duke and their supposed Most Talented Lineup you all should have seen the writing on the Big Blue Wall.
But most are still hesitant, resorting to name calling and ridicule because Ive been preaching this since July.
Listen, its ok to admit you were tremendously wrong and I am tremendously right.
This team is oozing with so much talent, so much experience and so much depth and are so well coached but you still wont stick your necks out like me and predict 40-0.
We have 10 cherry picked mercenaries, 9 of which are upperclassman that have come to Kentucky for one reason; not to get a degree, not to be drafted in the 1st rd next summer but to win a national freakin title.
THATS IT! They have one job; Pope has one job.
Lipscum’s coach basically said that UK is the best college team he has ever seen!
Yet, some of my own UK brethren are even going as far as saying Im jinxing the team.
Grow up and watch what happens.

I certainly hope you are correct. I do think there are still a few unanswered questions about this squad. They have passed every test to this point though
Think there is a stat only one or two teams have won the national title in the last 30 years that had less than three returning starters. Continuity is extremely important in college ball. We have an excellent team but i think our program will only get better as Pope gets multiple years with his own recruits and combines with top transfers
After than it is near impossible.
Actually, the largest impediment to going undefeated is not winning the big games, but stumbling in a lower tier game on the road. It is hard to always play your top game.
Should be a limit per month on how many threads this 🤡 can start. 1000% not a UK fan. He has been trolling UK boards since Tubby was coaching.

When UK lost to IU in the tournament a few years back he melted down. Admitted he wasn't a fan.

🤦🏻♂️. This team is good but doesn’t have that level of talent. Would get beaten 9 out of 10 vs the 96 team Pope was on that list 2 games. Thats not a knock on this team.
There are 8-9 ranked SEC teams and a couple more who could be before long. No SEC or B12 team is going undefeated in conference play, let alone the whole season.

December 7 is only mostly at-Zags.
Their home court is McArthey Athletic Center in Spokane. Climate Pledge Arena for them is like us playing at Yum! Center. Not a huge difference. But it could be a critical difference for our guys, who will have only one true road game under their belts by then.

Dude, if you feel it you feel it. Every year, we have a road game against 8 on the court. That will not change this year, I hope it does, but will not hold my breath. Will be a fun journey, like I have said since the hire. I know if things stay on this path everyone having us with double digit losses will be reevaluating their pics. First schedule OOC / win them all and go into the 2nd schedule SEC regular season to finally get to 3rd schedule (post season). Hope coaches are breaking it down this way so guys do not look too far ahead. You know it is hard in todays day and tech age for guys not to drink the poison. Hopefully teammates keep each other in check.

I feel like if anyone is going to go undefeated it would be some non power conference team that is just really good.
Anyone that plays in power conferences is going to have a rough time doing this. There's a huge home field advantage in this sport and you'd have to be miles better than the other team to be considered the favorite on the road. This usually just happens in non power conferences where u have one dominant team.
UK is currently 15th in Kenpom. That's not bad. We continue to get better and move up. But we are currently underdogs in EIGHT of the remaining games. There's other games where we are just slight favorites. Running the table would be slim. In fact, the odds on that site is:

I really think/hope the Pope effect will be immediate on the 3 striped guys on the court. It has to at least improve.....right???
Don't start the BS this early. We have only won one game against good competition. Seven to ten losses is more realistic.

With respect to having the right ingredients to be a 40-0 team, I don’t see it. I absolutely think title contender is not a stretch but undefeated is too lofty. Will be glad to be wrong. I can elaborate
