Why does it seem to come down to UK and Duke? I believe most here think Texas is Kentucky's biggest competition for Bamba.
I'm not saying either way, I am just wondering where you read that or what you had heard that made it seem like the choice was down to UK or Duke.

Actually, I don't really follow recruiting with fervor. I just responded to the original post by a dude who thought Bamba was headed to Duke. I don't have Dukephobia, at all. I just wondered what people thought about past situations where it seemed to come down to Duke and UK, that's all. The same can be said about North Carolina, although not to the same extent. I go back to when Jeff Mullins lived right across the street from Lafayette High School and went to Duke instead of UK. Vincent Taylor's Father worked for UK, but he also went to Duke. etc ....
That's not true. I just spoke to Walter and Myrtle Jenkins of Tombstone, North carolina. They had nothing but the best to say about UK. They actually told me they were jealous. Walter is a unc fan and Myrtle loves Duke. Cute couple.
@TheDude1 people don't hate Duke because they're usually very good. People hate Duke because they always have self entitled rich kids that think the world owes them something and those said kids are always protected in that Duke uniform. They also hate Duke because the media kisses and wipes their asses. They hate Duke because they get a cake walk tournament road every year. Hell, Duke was being protected this year but they unexpectedly got their asses handed to them by South Carolina. Other than Duke, how many blue bloods were there on Duke's side of the bracket. That would be a big goose egg, zero. I'll save you the trouble of trying to count that high.They hate Duke because your coach whines and cries around like a little bitch until he gets his way. Look no further than the 2015 title game for an example. They hate Duke because their players flop, head snap and trip at every opportunity. Said trippers get THREE strikes over a span of TWO seasons and receive an indefinite suspension of ONE game for it. Their coach calls out Brooks (opposing player) in the handshake line, then lies on national television and says he didn't say what Brooks said he did. Then, the next day, (after he knew the mics picked it up) he said he misspoke and he did, in fact, say what Brooks said he did. What a ****ing hypocrite, calling out an opposing player for his on court behavior after letting his player slide for purposely tripping two different players in two different games within the same exact season. Not to mention, they cuss and bad mouth refs with no consequences. Hells bells, did you witness Amile Jefferson bad mouth that ref for like 10 straight minutes during the South Carolina game AND GET AWAY WITH IT?! Un****ingbelievable. No warning, no nothing.
