Got a feeling Bamba is going to Duke with Duval

No idea why Duval would go to Duke. If Grayson hits the road then maybe. Bamba is prob not afraid of Bolden, but Carver will prob play a lot of Center as well.

Bamba at Duke doesn't even feel right. He's not a Duke. His style of play isn't a Dukie. Duvall somehow ends up at Kansas I just know it. Prototypical Kansas recruit. Issues.

I think Duke is about done. Carter and Bolden pretty much make it tough for him to play there anyway.

To me Duval seems like the kind of kid that will go somewhere that he is the man, maybe Seton Hall. With Graham and the kid from Miss St, Somebody would not be happy if he went to Kansas

Yea something like that. Neither duval nor Bamba seem like Dukies. Knox even feels UNC to me. I think Duke is done right now.

I have a feeling that even if Bam comes back and we sign both Knox and Bamba, Smooth as butter will be back on the UNC board all of next season telling them that they are the best team in the nation just as he did in our undefeated season.

By all indications, it looks like Bamba and Johnson to UK and Knox will land somewhere else according to E.Daniels. He predicted Baker to UK so I believe him more than most of these other people....If this happens and Bam returns.....Holy Crap....

Seems like a lot of folks are playing the negatives lately, including 3/4 of the Cat Illustrated predictors.

It's always easier to say the positive element won't happen, and then, if proven wrong, say, "I'm gladly eating crow." Folks at the point will often overlook the stupid prediction because everyone is happy.

Duval and Gracie would be like oil and water, they would be tripping each other to get shots !! Duval would only able to play in two places most likely Kansas where all their kids are great guys and speak seven languages and should be eligible right away to play no matter what according to the rug doctor. Or he plays at Duke and the media says what a great thing coach K has done taking a questionable recruit and worked with to make him a better person much less a basketball player !!

LMAO . A. Duval is not going to Duke and will not qualify so who cares what happens with him. B. Bam is gone and C. Bamba ain't going to Duke . It will be Uk and if not UK then UT. Duke doesn;t stand a chance. It is funny as this class has 3 guys in the top 10 ( though Duval is way overrated) who ain't even going to play college due to not making the grades in Duval, ayton and Preston.

So is it pretty much known that Duval, Ayton and Preston wont qualify? Or is it wishful thinking?

hahaha Duval at Duke. Guy can't even pass high school on his own and he's going to Duke.

Shit. Why stop at Duke. Duval should go Ivy League..

From my understanding Duval has done all that he needed to do now to qualify. He'll be at Duke & will play. Bamba will NOT be at Duke

I'd kind of like to see Duval at Duke. Would love to see what happens the first time K screams at Duval or tells him he doesn't deserve to wear a Duke jersey.

Regardless, I have this funny feeling that Duval is using Duke to maximize his exposure, and at the end of the day he'll go the Terrance Ferguson route. We'll see.

With Bamba, I think it's us or Texas.

FTFY man.

Slightly off-topic, but why is it you absolutely never hear about kids not being able to make an ACT minimum score any more? Used to be a huge issue. Are kids today just better test-takers or is it no longer a requirement? Apparently Derrick Rose was the last kid in America who couldn't pass an ACT test on his own.

There has been alot of smoke about those 3 not qualifying . That was the reason Cal didn't extend the nation's best center Ayton an offer as I think we could of gotten him if we did . People connect Duval to Duke since they need a pg bad but I bet he ends up somewhere like Seton Hall even if he qualifies.

Hmmm. Great point.

Haven't even thought about ACT score since Rose's trouble.

Schools teach test taking now, they practice with sample tests because so much funding is tied to kids making measurable progress.Perhaps not the actual ACT/SAT tests but with standardized test formats so the kids are more familiar with them.It starts very early around 3rd or 4th grade.

I think Bam will be gone after he gets reassurance that a team is drafting him first round. (I think his draft stock will only rise with his combine measureables). If Bam leaves I think/hope we get Bamba.

I do not see a roster tat includes all five of Bam, Bamba, Richards, SKJ, and Humphries. I only see room for three bigs (4/5 spot) to get significant playing time. You have to remember we have Vanderbilt and Washington who both could play the 4.

Dream roster is: Quade, Knox, Vanderbilt, Washington, Bamba, Bam, Richards, Alexander, Baker, (either Humphries or SKJ).

I think it is more likely that we don't get Knox, and we go big with Vanderbilt playing shooting guard. Other than Quade, than would be a long athletic line up: Quade, Vanderbilt, Washington, Bam, Bamba.

Interesting, so some of these same "prep schools" that usher these kids through their core classes teach test-taking as well?

Wonder if they also administer the tests? I remember taking the SAT test at my high school - had to go to a nearby university though to take the ACT.

So is Gabriel transferring, redshirting, going pro or retiring?
