Yes we did, but they did have more offensive rebounds than we did tonight. We did do a better job being aggressive and went after the ball.
That's awesome to see in a game as physical as this. For some reason, I thought we got out rebounded, but that might've just been the turnovers.
Did a much better job tonight rebounding and handling physical play. Still have to work on corralling longer rebounds though, there are still way too many times when our guys get it first and get it stolen from behind or bobble it and lose possession.
We play a five out style alot and that leaves offensive rebounding in a bad spot.

Pope said after the Georgia game that rebounding was a problem and they need to fix it some how.

That is the only thing Cal taught was rebounding with two hands. Wish Williams would do that.
I noticed that tonight, too. However, I wonder that even if you have the offensive players spaced on the perimeter, why not have a couple of extra players besides the 5 crashing the glass...especially weakside.
There may be a good reason (transition defense, etc), but it's a question I'd be interested in hearing Pope answer.
Above his shoulders too and not below. Man that was really irritating “ The Goose” tonight. He was talking about all the great rebounders of all time and how they all grab them above the shoulders.
May be, but he may have never been taught how to rebound with two hands plus he just does not jump very high.
