Dude that game is played by every major college football program. We try to flip kids commitments all the time. Until they sign that LOI, they are fair game. A verbal is just that, it's not binding in any way.

I can't divine his intent but I would think if he was talking about staff and team have used words like the coaches and the players, not "people". I took to mean everyone he had contact with on his visit, and I wouldn't rule out virtual sites like twitter or here.

State was our top contender the whole time. They didn't magically appear. He took multiple visits. Their insiders thought they were flipping him months earlier.
