The Kentucky fanbase isn’t fair weather or bandwagon other than some nba fanboys that showed up the last 15 years.

UKs fanbase has been massive since the 40s and will continue to be.

People have a mythical and delusional view of the programs history. I'd care more about of those 76 years how many times have we finished top 10 as that matters way more.

We have just as good a case as any team to be in top 15. I think we could crack top 10 by the time October rolls around. I feel like we have all the pieces.

I don't blame any pre-season ranker to be bearish about this season's Kentucky team. Nobody really knows how this thing is gonna go. Pope built a car in his garage, over a couple weekends. Who knows what happens when he goes to crank it?

I think a realistic approach is for everyone to pump the breaks on expectations coming out of the gate. We don't have a couple studs that can carry us through the growing pains earlyon. But, I do expect this team is gonna end up being one that other coaches aren't going to be happy about when they see them in their region in March.
