If you zoom in on the chat it shows something a little different...

I guess you don't understand what happens to even a well conditioned human body with temperature and humidity at 35c (95f with relative humidity at 95).

A wet-bulb temperature of 35°C is regarded as the theoretical limit of what humans can endure. It would be reached at an actual temperature of 45°C if relative humidity were 50%, or at about 39°C if humidity were 75%.

I will waste both of our time and post a link to NASA where they will attempt to make you understand what it is you find so humorous:

ASK NASA CLIMATE | March 9, 2022, 11:41 PST Too Hot to Handle: How Climate Change May Make Some Places Too Hot to Live

As Earth’s climate warms, heat waves are becoming more frequent and severe. The health dangers of extreme heat have scientists and medical experts increasingly concerned. And for good reason: heat stress is a leading cause of weather-related deaths in the United States each year. A recent example is the record-breaking heat wave that hit the U.S. Pacific Northwest last summer, killing hundreds.

An “unexpected” 14 degree drop in temperature between 2003 and 2018. Neptune’s 40 earth-year summer is confusing researchers. They expected a gradual increase in temperatures. Then, between 2018 and 2020, there was a raise by 20 degrees. This kind of polar warming has never been seen on Neptune until now. Neptune’s average temp is a chilly -340 degree Fahrenheit. Researchers still don’t know what is causing the temperature shifts.

I think Neptune is the most underrated planet

And its a "Gas Giant" or something like that -
And i THINK it has a cock eyed axis or something -- atmosphere of liquid methane?

Freaking cool
And I LOVE those creepy ass NASA bits where they compile a composite of radiation frequencies, radio and other emissions to create the "Sound" of the
planets

anyway- gotta go to a semi shady late night middlesboro associate - and my teeth feel like they are wearing sweaters so - back later, Neptune fans

No, I think I've got you figured just about right. Grew up around a lot like you. Left them and their ignorance behind. I see the ones that are still alive sometimes. It's like you and me now, right here. Anyone reading this sees what you wrote and they see my reply and that tells the tale of both our paths in life.

We're allowing the political folks to come over and side-track us a bit and I'd like to get back on topic.

What I would really like to see in this thread is a local farmer. Somebody that grows a crop every year. I'd like to know what they are seeing whether it supports my POV or not. Anyone know any farmers that could join us?

Off topic but just to see how people view the "science". Even though data is mounting that the vax didn't do squat and that multiple shots actually lead to worse medical outcomes... How many still trust the experts when they tell you to keep injecting this into your body every 4ish months? It's science after all.... they all agree.

We have a well populated Covid thread. Perhaps you should inflict your ignorance on them there?

I typically don’t reply to instigators, you are the exception. Being born and raised in Southwest Louisiana I can promise you people aren’t dying spontaneously because of heat and humidity in and around the entire gulf coast. It’s a furnace with wind for 6 months and the interior areas are even worse at times, much worse. You get in those bayou regions and you have never felt heat like that but people have lived there for generations and not one that I can remember ever died spontaneously because of heat and or humidity. But you go ahead and quote NASA or whatever the hell else you want to post by someone sitting behind a desk in New York or wherever they are from with their ideas for another ridiculous story to scare people from the blue states that believe in that kind of sh!t to get clicks.

You could have saved yourself a whole lot of time by just saying you don't understand what wet bulb temperatures are or how they affect living organisms.

And I like how you call me an instigator when you and your little political buddies have came over here to spread your political off-topic nonsense all over the board undoubtedly in hopes of getting it locked or one of the moderators to save you like is the MO for the political board.

Planet Earth experienced its fifth warmest year in recorded history in 2022, adding to a streak in which the last eight years have been the hottest on record, thanks to climate change caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

The 2022 finding was released Tuesday by the European Union’s Copernicus Climate Change Service, an independent nongovernmental organization. The only years hotter than 2022 in recorded history have been 2016, 2020, 2019 and 2017, the group said.

The cause of rising temperatures has long been established. Hundreds of thousands of scientific studies over decades have concluded that the burning of fossil fuels releases greenhouse gases into the Earth's atmosphere that trap the sun's ultraviolet radiation and result in warming. While government action around the world has begun to try to limit the emissions causing climate change, the pace of that effort has so far failed to keep temperatures from continuing to rise.

Carbon dioxide concentrations rose by approximately 2.1 parts per million and methane rose by around 12 parts per billion, resulting in an average of approximately 417 ppm for carbon dioxide and 1,894 ppb for methane.

“For both gases these are the highest concentrations from the satellite record,” the Copernicus Climate Change Service wrote in its report. “By including other records, they are the highest levels for over 2 million years for carbon dioxide and over 800,000 years for methane.

2022 was the 5th warmest year on record, adding further evidence of climate change The last 8 years have been the warmest 8 on record, the report from the European Union's Copernicus Climate Change Service

The record high temp in Lex, Ky was in 1936....nearly 90 yrs ago. I didn't need to post a slew of links to let you know that.

God put this world in motion, climate and all. He'll make the call on when it becomes uninhabitable, or just gone.

Think of all the carbon those hunter gatherers put into the air to cause enough warming to end an ice age. If only they paid a little more in tax it could've been prevented!!

I know I said this in another thread well over a year ago, but it bears repeating: the lockdown/vaccine stance was nothing more than a rebranded global warming argument.

Everything from settled science, to 97% of experts agree, to recruiting zealots to condemn their fellow citizen, we're all in this together, ruining/cancelling any expert calling out the farce, etc etc.

Every single tactic. The only thing that changed was the insert the blank subject matter

Agreed! God made the world, but he also allows us to destroy things as we choose, including ourselves and the planet.

The graph is clear. The planet is warming. If youve played golf a long time it’s obvious. I know you’re a golfer.

I used to geek out if the winter temp broke 45 in Lexington in the 80s/90s. Today, that’s no big deal

Vaccines are a joke and maybe even a crime against humanity , but they don’t have anything to do with the planet warming.

Mostly, those who favor govt run healthcare, favor the vaccine mandate. Those who favor govt run healthcare, lean socialist. Global warming has been renamed climate change to cover all types of weather, in an attempt to usher in a world regulating body that's about money, and the control and redistribution of it. Trotsky and Lenin would be proud of the effort.

And, then, we all know you created this sock just for politics.

Let’s reach out to the farmers in the Netherlands and see if they will contribute. Anyone have a contact? I am sure they will see this thread about Neptune as an important vehicle for their voice.

As if getting rid of the cold would be less beneficial than getting rid of the heat for the issue of human suffering and death. The alarmist only know one voice. Objectivity, creativity, and reason are tossed for the purpose of maintaining fear. What if no one feared? The alarmist is done.

If no one feared then Republican lawmakers would have no platform.

Historically, the daily temps in Lex for January are 42 degrees, rarely falling below 25 or exceeding 58. These anecdotal comments about your experiences are meaningless. 1974 was a very warm winter for Birmingham, but you used the 70s as an example of how things have changed. We got down to -7 this year in Louisville. It has been about 15 years since we have had a low that low. Should people tout that fact as an example of Louisville not warming? Of course not. In short, your memory of golf outings is not relevant. Of course, I recognize your repeated comments may just be an attempt at humor.

Then stop fearing, liberal.
I only fear God, brother. I'm talking about how Republicans stoke fear among their base to get people riled up and more likely to vote for them. They say that the government is coming for their guns, they're trying to take away their free speech, the LGBTQ community is indoctrinating their kids, teachers are trying to turn them into woke sheep that hate America, the army of IRS agents is coming for their money, immigrants are coming for their jobs, etc. It's especially funny how every election cycle includes news on some caravan coming from a South American country filled with migrants headed straight for our border.

I myself remember reading stories of waves of people dropping dead of heart issues when they traveled to Africa, South America, or the malarial south.

Oh wait that never happened. Science!

Yeah, you definitely burned me bad with that comment. You always like to claim things are false when you're last two brain cells that are fighting for third place can't come up with anything else to say.

Burn? No. Just fact.

You are a hypocrite.

I don't think you understand the words that you are saying. The comment "And you claim others are political" is not based on fact or fiction, it's just a whataboutism to deflect on what I was talking about. There's a difference between talking about politics and spending every waking moment in the political thread like some of you losers with zero life.

Actually, it was based on posts you made just within the week in other threads. And, your fear comment was akin to whataboutism. You are a hypocrite.

And I'll gladly wear that title especially since you're the one placing it upon me. Our back and forth every few days is fun for me, it allows me to repeat the pot calling the kettle black line each time.

@LOL_Man I have a bunch of recyclables that need to be taken out to the curb. Let me know when you're on your way here to continue your climate crusade.

When the left starts to care about the type of impact countries like China and India have, then I will begin to listen to what they have to say about how the US should be making changes. Until then, it's simply virtue signaling and trying to hit the pockets of people they are envious of and hate.

Or when they start supporting nuclear plant construction. Or stop buying homes on the beach. Or using private jets.
