Give me Trent Noah 15-20 minutes a game and Zero for Chandler and Perry

I know we aren’t lighting it up but the defense is looking somewhat better. Better communication. Better help on drives. Chandler and Perry ain’t it. Noah gives us rebounding and toughness and even good shooting. Going forward I hope Pope makes this the rotation

Agreed they all have a different role and impact depending on the team. Noah fits a physical game due to his hustle and rebounding ability.

Can't wait to watch them grow the next 4 years

The reason I don’t want to see Perry and Chandler is because they are turnovers waiting to happen the minute they stop on the court

Noah does not compete with Chandler or Perry for minutes, so his number of minutes really has nothing to do with them.

Noah ran point since 8th grade on varsity so pretty sure he knows how to play the position and I’ll take him at point all day every day over Perry. Noah won’t make the careless turnovers that Perry has shown to & he gives us more defensively than Perry as well.
I’ve always wanted to see Noah get mins with the starters cause I know he can blend well with those guys, not saying to start him but to play him with them. Solid player that knows his role and will only get better here.

And to the OP… I love Noah and he’s played really well today, but last game he did something that hadn’t been done at UK in 20 years. And it wasn’t a good thing. So maybe dial back the hyperbole a bit.

I could be wrong but I feel the point of this thread is...

With Perry you lose so much on the defensive side of the ball without a spike in offense to counter the drastic drop on D.

With Chandler you lose so much on the offensive end... basically playing 4 vs 5 on offense.

With Noah you have a physical guy that can body up defensively, rebound, has great court IQ, can pass on the offensive end, score enough to Garner attention from the other team.

At this point in the season you go with your better, more physical all around players and find people in that group of players that can start the offense or guard someone.

Played 12 mins and didn’t log a stat. Him and Almanor both. He played very well on defense, blocked out and was in position to rebound but never had any balls come off to his side. Wasn’t for a lack of effort from either guy IMO.

Why can't we ever just praise one player without shitting on another? I love Noah, too... but that's no reason to bash the others
