Give it up to Jaxson for a great game!

It was nice to see the Coach Pope and the team feed the hot man! Cal’s teams and most teams in today’s game fail to do this. Often this season I have watched college and high school games where a guy gets on heater and his own teammates defend him.

Only one game I really recall off the top Cal’s teams feed. Super hot hand was Monk vs. UNC. They fed him all game long. Only guys like Oscar got consistently fed in his system.

This one game got his 3 point perecentage up to 33% and I think he's really better than that; his release is beautiful.

He’s not a bad shooter. He’s a bad shot selector. Glad to see him have a monster game. We need him and if he can get confidence and better selection then he will be fine.

For sure. While he's had some bad games, he got us the win last night. We lose without him. He probably felt the biggest weight lifted off his shoulders after this game. Probably waiting for this type of performance since day 1.

Great to see it, and this will be a huge confidence booster.

He seemed to be more engaged and guess he’s a player if his shot falls then that determines his game, if they’re not falling then it’s in his head. I’d still like to see him be more aggressive going to the rim but this version is what this team needs. OO, Butler, & JR could lead us to San Antonio but it will take all 3 along with the effort everyone gave last night.

I agree- seems he is almost non-existent for many games and then has a game like he did last night which was tremendous- really wish he could be more consistent because that would make us a tremendous team IMO
