Naturally. They get a night game. We get Florida at noon.

SEC Football Week 6

  • LSU at Missouri / Noon ET / 11 AM CT / ESPN
  • Western Michigan at Mississippi State / Noon ET / 11 AM CT / SEC Network
  • Alabama at Texas A&M / 3:30 PM ET / 2:30 PM CT / CBS
  • Vanderbilt at Florida / 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / SEC Network
  • Kentucky at Georgia / 7 PM ET / 6 PM CT / ESPN
  • South Carolina Arkansas at Ole Miss / 7:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM CT / ESPN2

I can't think of anytime in recent memory UK had so many Noon games. But, they have also benefitted from lots of Night games the last few years.

Some of the biggest UK wins recently all came at Night.

UK vs #9 UL - Stevie got loose
UK vs #1 LSU
UK vs. Steve Spurrier & South Carolina
UK vs. #10 Florida
UK vs. Tennessee

These noon games suck, especially when it was hot early in the year. I’m sorry, I drink a lot of alcohol, but even I think it’s gross to start drinking at 9am
That's the worst part about it...I just cannot justify drinking before Noon or honestly really earlier than 3pm.

Yup....nice to give UK road games night games and home UF game noon...silly SEC ruling.

Our last three wins over UF were night games, two on the road!

South Carolina, home, 2010, home, 2014, road, 2015, 2017, 2020.

The only “big” win that springs to mind that was a noon game was UT in 2020.

Good point, but I'm pretty sure the #1 LSU game was in the afternoon.

UGA play Carolina at 3:30, playing AU on CBS, can't remember not playing UF at 3:30. No idea why Carolina was that time, but didn't think UGA would get that slot 3 out of 4 weeks.

Here are a few:

Both Citrus Bowl games have been early afternoon games.

Win vs UL and Lamar was a noon game

Roark UT game was a noon game

We basically beat LSU in 2002 and Florida in 2003 during day games. Both were Jefferson Pilot games IIRC. Not wins on paper but in our heart of hearts.

Haven't you guys heard from some of our expert fans, noon games favor the home team.. you know, because players like playing early.

Recently? Most of these have been quite a while ago.

Gross is a good word for it, alcoholic might be another.

It was pitch black by the end. It was the CBS game with Verne Lunquist, so it kicked off at 3:30, and with multiple overtimes, ended well after sunset.
Very long game, and I bet very few fans left early.

So fire me, boss.

Georgia probably gets whatever slot they want.

I was listening or reading something and they said UGA has the least amount of night games. Seems we always get them at night.

That’s an awful small sample size and some of those games were like 20 years ago? Lol

Maybe it turns out to be a good thing. Maybe this squad plays well early; they were ready to go in the 1st quarter last week.

Lol, I was just messing with Jauk. I actually like 12 o'clock games. Not a fan of night games. But being an old guy my opinion doesn't mean much.
I actually agree on day games versus night games. My main reason is I absolutely HATE waiting all day for UK to play. If I was going to the game, obviously want a night game. Also sucks about night games if you attend is you miss all of the games pretty much.

If we beat Florida, it’s likely that Athens will host Game Day for the UK game.
