But if they don't add anyone else and Allen returns, they still have a great starting lineup. No depth and no PG, though.

You would have been more accurate saying "I like to ascribe the most negative spin possible to everything I read."

I mean, if you really believe this is the case, there is literally nothing anyone could say that would make you think something good might happen.

Comments that do bode well for UK do not bode well for UK, and commments that do not bode well for UK do not bode well for UK. Don't be such an Eeyore!

How can you look at what's going on over the last 12 months, and not be shakey about going to Duke.

Players are bolting anyway they can, and not leaving on great terms, Coach K's healthy, Grayson Allen's antics, Coach K's apparent weakness with freshman..

If you're Bamba, are you really going to turn down Cal, Kentucky, and playing with your boy Green.. to go with Duke, and what's been transpiring? That's a hugggee risk.

Thin, mentally weak, and guys like Carter and Trent are no sure-fire top5 picks like Tatum or Josh Jackson.. Duke would absolutely need those two to be studs from day 1..

.. or league play in the ACC would do a number on them.

the squad above is going to lose.. a lot. Maybe by March they come together, as they have a lot of young talent.. but it's doubtful. Coach K is no Cal

This makes perfect sense to me. It's very reasonable and logical. If I'm Bamba, it's UK all the way, for multiple reasons. Just look at Calipari's track record with big men. Even when the guy just didn't seem to get it, in a situation like we had with Skal Labissiere, he played better by season's end and still got drafted, and now he's making it in the league. Does anyone here think Skal would be improving as he has if not for the challenges and coaching he got at UK? Maybe in another 3-4 years but not now.

And seriously, look at what Duke has done with big men. They've turned 1 year players into 2 year players, 2 year players into 3 year players, and so on. Coach K's health is becoming a greater issue as time passes.

And then you've got Quade Green, your buddy from AAU days, who you know will sacrifice to get you the ball in prime position. You've got Coach Cal who is going to maximize your strengths, put in a position to succeed, market you to your greatest potential, and never hold you back. Then you've got Kenny Payne who is a proven Coach for big men. Heck he even turned Josh Harrelson into an NBA pick.

It's a no-brainer to me. Even if Bam returns, it's still a no-brainer. It's UK all the way.
