With the extraordinary performance from OO, we should not overlook the equality performance of B. Garrison:
Energy , block shots, great defense, shooting the 3 , scoring in the paint, active hands and moving his feet in defense,

He was excellent!

We need this fantastic Garrison every night and next year !

Huge game from him. He’s been pretty abysmal the last month but tonight he showed up in a huge way and was aggressive defensively instead of a matador

He was way better tonight than most will give credit for. I really think he's got a ton of potential and would love him back next year in a similar role as the #2 big and just keep working on his game, maybe quell the emotions just a bit.

Op u are right . However his hot head could very well have cost us the game taunting the Oklahoma player when the game was either almost over or over . Refs looked at it and did nothing . Thank God Williams grabbed him to make him stop . If ref had said it happened during play and assessed a technical we probably lose .

I'll tell you what else Garrison is - he's the meanest son-of-a-gun UK has. Not saying he's the toughest, but I think if there is any player on this team that'll take a kid's lollipop and leave them crying it's Garrison. This team needs some of that.

His defense against Fears several times was quite impressive...by moving his feet, staying in position, and cutting off Fears' driving lane, he caused Fears to just pass the ball back out stalling the Sooner offense as opposed to other times when Fears was really creating for the Sooners by driving & dishing.

OO had couple of those moments too and Amari and Perry made sure he is under control. Emotions were high for both Garrison and OO, for a coming home game.

He had a back and forth most of the game with Moore . He also went to Oklahoma St so I’m sure he doesn’t care for Oklahoma anyway

This is how he can help this team. He is athletic enough to get out on perimeter players in the Pick-and-Roll and cut off drivers. He can also give weakside help with his length and quickness. If he can get stronger this off-season, he could be really good next season.

HUGE game tonight when we REALLY needed him!!! Hope this is the beginning of a big jump in his game!!!

Needs to get a WHOLE LOT stronger to get to where Jamal was here. He seems to have the SMACK TALK part down though. 😁 😁

Not every big is suited for Pope's system and the fact that BG knows the offense will give him a big leg up.
