Not sure how you wouldn't expect that. They play the first game of the day, and the Louisville scandal is one of the biggest stories in CBB. Yes, he will get interviews, yes, it will be talked about, that's how it is. Don't complain lol.
It's borderline awkward to watch this mess. Looks like they just let a group tour into the arena while they were filming and told everybody not to make a sound or it would ruin the production.
I'll agree with Stephan A that if this was Cal instead of Pitino noise would be 10x worse. Almost anyone not named Pitino, K, or Roy would of been fired for this already.
Here's the bias from these analysts showing though even with the Cal discussion. They deal with these guys all the time, really like them, and that blinds them to point. Bilas and Williams gets it. UL has every right to fire their coach. Bilas just thinks you can't be held responsible for your staff. Sorry, that comes with the territory of making millions

Did anyone else notice that SA Smith mentioned Bill Self as a coach who has more than 1 title? He doesn't have a damn clue what he's talking about.
Sure enough. "If this were John Calipari, I mean, we're looking for some kind of consistency with this kind of thing", which was followed up with the comment that Pitino hasn't been named in NCAA violations. That said, what was left out is Calipari wasn't named in an NCAA violation at any point in his career either, and this field of issue is consistent with Pitino. His 2nd sex scandal in the past decade.
People want to say "Oh, Rick didn't know about all of that going on, he shouldn't be cited for it", but all the same, those same people Calipari should have known about Rose allegedly cheating on an SAT (and that was unproven), and Calipari should have known about Camby taking money from an agent.
If a person is going to do that, that person can't use that same excuse of not knowing for Rick Pitino, when funds are leaving the program mysteriously. That person can't use that excuse of not knowing for Bill Self, when he had a player just last season that took money from an agent, and that player even admitted it.
Absurd double-standard.

Of course you will. I'm just giving you some logic to fall back on. If you want to nag about something that you've probably been asking for all along, then nag away. It looks a tiny bit ridiculous though. Negative publicity is still publicity, and Louisville has a lot of negative publicity right now.

I made a simple comment about Gameday, you're the one trying to turn this into a Pitino suck fest. You tell me not to complain and then post a two paragraph rant about comments made on Gameday regarding Pitino and Cal? Maybe a little self observation could go a long way for you.
I couldn't care less about this Pitino/Lousiville junk, it's gonna be brought up, but I for one am sick of hearing about it. My personal opinion and feelings on the matter. Sorry it doesn't fit into your little world.
