It sure as heck goes in the W column. I will take it wins any way we can get them at this point.
I think they got the call because he had a hand on the receivers back. Looked like he might have had a pinch of jersey. Thank god it didn't matter.
We played poorly. We did, but this team has done extremely well fighting for wins. We've been in a lot of close games and we've came out on top in most of them. That's impressive in and of itself. It'd be great to play a game where we blow the other team out, but the fact that we continue to find a way to win is impressive.
I wish we would play as fast as we did on the drive that we was down 14 all the time. The less time Towles has time to think about shit the better.
Why they play like this...when you play 3 sec games in a row.had a big win last WK,they think eku should be a easy win..prime for a let down!!! And from my eyes they had a let down in every phase of the game including coaching..
Like there fight in the end.
They need to take another look at the oline in the off week. You can not blame talent for the break downs tonight.
P.S.. They were not prepared mentally, and were very flat emotionally..
It's gonna take two hours for my blood pressure to go down enough to sleep. Love the fight we finally showed but being in that position is disturbing. We need this 12 day break to heal up and get our heads straight. I was very relieved to see Boom celebrating with the guys multiple times tonight. Hopefully that is now behind us.
Major letdown game off the Mizzou win. I'll take the W though. Just think of how Ole Miss, UT,UGA fans are feeling tonight.
Do any of you Towles haters watch our online play? He very seldom has time to throw. EKU whipped our make shift line all night. Games are won upfront...for 40 minutes EKU won the battle decisively
i dont understand how after the events of this summer than you can let an inferior opponent come into your house and whip you physically for 90% of the game. i know crap like this happens and close games occur even with extreme talent gaps... jesus H christ how did we not come out on fire and pissed off and try to squash them. graffee freaking flexed at our sideline and taunted us and we just sit there like pus... well you know what im saying.
stoops should take them right back out there and scrimmage since we got an off week cause lord knows they could use the practice and attitude adjustment. most embarrassed i've ever been winning. freaking sad.

That's the most troubling thing to me. Our offensive line could not stop a pass rush from an FCS school.
It is interesting that there are times that they do well and other times that they can't give even half a second. It's got to be hard for a quarterback to feel comfortable when you never know if the offensive line is going to give you any protection one play to the next.
