From the Rivals profile, I do not think he received an SEC offer, or any offer other than Illinois, although he was a Florida High School player.

He totaled 28 tackles his redshirt frosh year, and has had a good start for a “hot” Illini team that is 4-0, with a home win over 18th ranked Kansas, and an overtime road win vs. Nebraska.

For a 5.5 three Star guy, he has developed solidly in the bottom half of the Big Ten.

At 6’3” and 275, he sounds a tad large for outside linebacker in the SEC, but he is playing Big Ten West football, so he likely fits their profile at that spot.
