Fun watching OR/Wash offenses

Coen is not the problem. Stoops has been here 11 years and we still play the slowest pace in college football. We could have Tom Brady in his prime and would still milk the clock to keep Stoops' defense off the field.

Yeah...those clean pockets, able to throw a 2 yard pass that gets 6 YAC consistently and deeper balls 4 seconds to throw.....those things are easy to do in PAC12 vs. SEC.

Bo Nix was a below average QB at a good SEC school in Auburn.....but now he's heisman. What is the main difference.

I was waiting for somebody to say that. As if those two teams would be bottom tier in the SEC 🙄

Nobody said they were worst than anyone in the SEC, what a silly conclusion to draw
I think the point is, these teams would score against any SEC defense so it’s not like they’re good only because they play in the PAC 12. Yes, the SEC plays better defense, but I think Nix is much better today than he was early in his career mainly due to maturity and scheme, not because he’s playing in a different conference. I think it’s a little “homer” to imply he’s only better due to the conference he plays in. Would he be a heisman candidate in the SEC? If he played for Georgia or Alabama, very possibly.

Washington would not run thru sec undefeated…are you arguing they would?

I don’t think a miss st or vsndy (heck maybe UK) would beat Washington. But that team would not finish top three is sec

Uk just beat one or two team in aCC….and we are what 9th best sec team…maybe

As far as Bo Nix….dude has decent but not elite feet, all his throws are quick five yard-ish passes, some sideline fades and that is it. Cant throw intermediate, deep balls either. He played three years and was a 12 td guy, 4 ints 2500 yards guy on average. He goes to Oregon and it’s 40 tds 3 picks and 5k yards….you think not playing sec defensive players didn’t help a ton thjs stats?

I do not think they would go through the SEC undefeated but they would be just below Georgia more than likely. Maybe on par with Alabama. I think Nix is better due to the offense he plays in, not because he simply plays in the PAC 12. The Washington and Oregon offenses would be effective in the SEC.
